Great place, exactly what was advertised. We had everything we needed plus. Beautiful place to relax and enjoy and minutes from the public boat launch. We look forward to returning! ❤️
The yard was full of dog droppings - previous renters must not have cleaned up after their pets.
Bed in 2nd bedroom was noisy and seemed to be on the verge of breaking.
No Keurig coffle maker which is common to have in most places these days.

Really close to castle rock lake.
Loved most amenities. The CA works really well, which was great during the 90 degree heatwave. Almost everything was clean.
The downside is the people that live across the road. You can't help who your neighbors are. They are loud and obnoxious but not late in the evening so we could sleep fine. It wasn't nice to sit outside and listen to they.
It was quiet inside except for noisy fridge.
This sounds like a lot of negativity but it really is a nice place, just bummer with the neighbors.

Thank you for your review, Shannon! I’m glad to hear that you enjoyed the amenities and that the air conditioning provided relief during the heatwave. It’s also great to know that you found the place mostly clean.
I appreciate your feedback regarding the noise from the neighbors and the fridge. While we can’t control our neighbors, I understand how their noise can impact your outdoor experience. I will also look into the fridge noise to ensure it’s functioning properly.
Thank you for your understanding and for highlighting the positives of your stay. We would love to welcome you back for another visit!

Lovely!
The house was clean and decorated nicely. It was a nice, peaceful getaway. Very well kept home.
If i can give this place a -1000 stars i would!!! From the moment we drove up to the drive way we had a creepy negative vibe from the neighborhood and the house, it didn’t help the fact that the neighbor bad confederate flag and being POC we felt uncomfortable. The first night our group woke up with multiple knocks, we tried reaching out to the management company and were on the line for 1.5 hrs before getting connected to someone at VACASA. We were not provided any service in-fact were told to stay put to hear another knock and call again. No one in my group went back to sleep and all of us hung out in the living room , no “local contact” showed up or called us to address the issue. We were denied relocation by VACASA or a refund .
The following night, we were returning from The Dells, the street was blocked by a fallen tree, we called VACASA was told they will contact “local staff” and follow up with us, waited for 30 minutes , never received a call regarding the issue, finally called 911 , Deputy sheriff showed up, we explained the situation and didn’t feel comfortable staying another night in that “creepy” property. Apparently the driveway street is a private property and owner of the houses along the driveway needs to call to get the fallen tree removed. Sheriff walked us to the house along K9, helped us evacuate and we checked out at 2am after all the hurdles we experienced.
We filed a police report, took pictures, have the case number. Untill 12:26 pm on Sunday Sep 18th, we haven’t hears back from “local staff” or VACASA.
Such a shame!!!!!!!
Very clean home located in the quiet wooded are. We like the property because it's close to the state parks and the lake. We have enjoyed seating around the camp fire in the evening.

Quiet, comfortable, clean place
My family loved how clean and tidy the place was. It was comfortable and the place was adjusted to peoples needs. We’re looking forward to our next stay here!
We were impressed with the cleanliness of the cabin and clubhouse. Lots of towels and bedding was great. We had some minor issues as the grill was not cleaned so we bought and left a cheap grill brush there. The wifi was so-so, I was glad I wasn't planning on working , we couldn't get any local TV stations which could be a concern in storms. The door code system would randomly start spinning, which was a concern to hear that late at night. But overall we did enjoy the property.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, listing accuracy
Disliked: Location
Cute small home for short stay
The home was very cute and just right for our group of 8. One thing to note if you are a POC booking is the neighbor right across from the property is a tr*mp supporter. Had a lot of weird stares when we drove into the road to find the property, which made us feel a bit uncomfortable. Other than that, the property was very well maintained and cleaned when we arrived. Almost all amenities were available for us to cook, clean, etc. There were bugs present in kitchen sinks and other areas but was understandable since the location is in the woods. The club house was cute and great for hangout spot in the summer. The location is a little far from a convenience store so I would suggest to do your groceries shopping before arrival.
