Overall Alpine Meadows more than met our expectations. It was clean and well stocked. I loved sitting on the porch and listening to the river. The condo was conveniently located to tour around Lake Tahoe. Even though it downstairs I never heard anyone walking above us and they were there as I met them. Communication was fine with no major issues. I would definitely return.

Beautiful and comfortable

Fall is a beautiful time for Tahoe and this property did not disappoint. My spouse and I chose to celebrate our anniversary here and we will definitely be coming back. Definitely one of our best stays yet!

Condo was as advertised. Clean, quiet property right in the river. Very relaxing area. Sat on the patio every day. Within 20 minutes of everything you could possibly want to do. Highly recommend.

Property was great, well appointed with great river view, relaxing and comfortable. Problem arose on arrival. We had been given 2 different access codes to unlock the entry door and neither one worked. I had to call to get another code which worked. Then we went out for a bit and when we returned the most recent code we’d been given didn’t work so I had to call again. Also no one mentioned until the second call that after entering the code you must hit the checkmark key and then the door will open. The rest of our stay was seamless. Would stay again.

Great place.

This was a great place to stay.Have a Duraflame log for the first night I think is a must. So the folks get there and they don’t have to leave and go shopping because there is no wood or charcoal being able to be used. Carpets need cleaning badly.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: the location and view are super nice. however, the rental needs some updates. the patio is extremely dirty and dusty; the sliding screen door is broken; the sleeper coach is overly used and needs to be replaced.

Did some cooking and the kitchen was stocked with all the needed tools and pans! It was super clean! During the stay I kept saying.... “Wow this place is nice, I could see staying here again”! The view out the back is beautiful!

The view and sounds of the Truckee River just outside our balcony was an added bonus. The place was clean, comfortable, warm and cozy. Kitchen was well equipped. And the sauna and hot tub were perfect after a long ski day. The rental group was attentive and reliable. We highly recommend this rental.

Great place, centrally located, fully stocked

Very clean, comfortable place with such a great location right on the Truckee River. Listen to the soothing sound of the river flowing from your balcony! 10 min drive to Palisades resort and everything you need in Tahoe City. Parking right outside your door. Quiet, peaceful, 2 restaurants within 1 block. We had 2 adults and 1 12 yr old child and were very comfortable. Fully stocked kitchen with everything you need including soaps, paper goods, etc. living space is larger than appears in pictures. We brought an air mattress with us so did not use the pull out couch but noticed a nice pillow topper in the closet that would make it comfortable. Two box fans in the closet in case you come in summer. We loved it!

Extra money

Property was not bad, could of had a few hooks in the bathroom for towels, did not like the fact that after we agreed to stay there we were charged extra money incase there was any damage and didn’t even have an option to opt out of it. Shouldn’t that have included in the price to stay there. Beautiful area but would probably not stay there again.

Nice older condo, central location

We escaped here for three dayss the third weekend of October. A light snow dusted the trees and area on Saturday evening. We love the area and location of the condo because it's somewhat centrally located between Tahoe City and Truckee. You hear the cars and trucks on Highway 89, the main road to and from Tahoe City, even with the sliding glass doors closed. Also noise from the River Ranch outdoor dining/party area on the other side of the river. It's not too loud. This place is older. It could be updated in many ways. You get the impression its managed by a management company. The bar soap is cheap, the paper towels and toilet tissue are very thin, as though from a dollar store. Do notice the bed is not a king or Cal king. It was small for us, but we're used to a Cal king. It was awesome to walk to the River Ranch for drinks and dinner near the fireplace. Great service and food. (Only Duraflame logs allowed in the condo - bring you own.) Overall, we had a wonderful time. We encourage the owners to update the place. It was very comfortable, but could be much nicer if updated.
