We loved this home, very cozy but plenty of space for us. It was just the two of us so we didn't even really go downstairs or use the extra bedrooms but it was a great home for our long weekend stay! Will definitely keep in mind if we go back up north to Michigan in the future.
Stayed with my daughters and 3 grands for a weekend and we were very happy with the accommodations. Well stocked, and easy communication. Not fancy, but very clean and everything looked to be in great shape from dishes to bedding to all the extras. The beach was a 2 minute walk and we also used the back yard for fires in the firepit. Lots to do in the area and we will be back!
Such a nice home for our weekend getaway! We enjoyed campfires every day! The house was fully stocked with plenty of linen and a lot of surprising finishing touches. We all enjoyed our stay and were very comfortable in the house!
We stayed here for a week for a family vacation and it was wonderful. Very cozy, clean and exceptional attention to detail. We loved the area and can't wait to come back!
We certainly enjoyed our stay at the Pinecrest this July. The cabin maintains a nice temperature. Very clean and close to the library and beach. I give it a 5 star rating.
This was by far the nicest Vrbo we have ever stayed in! Many little extras and nice touches from the host. Walking distance to the water, local market and a cute breakfast place. Just right for our family of 4. Couldn't have asked for more!
The cabin was beautiful and we had lots of room for our family if 4. Jill was a wonderful host who was very fast to respond to my messages. We felt so welcome staying in the cabin. We loved being able to walk down to the public beach, market and to the playground at the old school house as well as many of our families homes. After our stay, Jill went out of her way to let us know we left an item behind and dropped it off at my moms who lives nearby since we had already driven down state. We greatly appreciate the thoughtfulness!
The home was perfect for our family of 5! Our three children enjoyed having their own space in the basement. We loved that the Tobinabee beach, dock and bike path were a very short distance from the house. We have already recommended this home to friends! Thank you for a wonderful stay!
Days before our arrival the owners reached out and gave us information on check in. They also supplied us with local information.
The driveway is a flat driveway with space to comfortably fit 2 vehicles maybe 3. Upon walking in we found a sign welcoming us and a table with a book for local restaurants.
Each entrance has a couple steps but once inside the main level has everything needed to be comfortable. It was such a nice space. The main level had a very nice sized bedroom connected to the one bathroom. You could also enter the bathroom from the living room. The bathroom was large and had a very nice counter/cabinet space for keeping bathroom supplies in without crowding. The dining area was decent size and was nice for having family meals together. The kitchen was small but well stocked. It didn’t have a dishwasher but honestly as a family we took turns and it was almost like going back in time when families got together for big meals. We enjoyed sitting on the side deck drinking coffee. The grill was on the back deck and was clean. We ran out of propane one evening and all it took was messaging in the morning and the owners were so fast in replying and replacing the tank. The only suggestion for the grill is any type of meat that may flame up more needs to heed caution of the lower overhead roof. The basement had two bedrooms and a sleeper couch and laundry room. The extra blankets were very nice. Walks to beach and park were made. So many good memories. ❤️
Thank you
Beautiful and clean cabin. Largest bathroom I've seen in my life haha! The personal touches that Jill and Pete added were so charming and thoughtful. We will certainly stay here again. Thank you.
Cabin was amazing. Very nice place to stay, for anyone anglers very convenient access to Mullet lake. Jill and Pete are amazing host. And I'm looking forward to next year's trip.
We were so fortunate to have found Jill and Pete’s VRBO. Absolutely lovely. They were both on site when we arrived. So friendly and helpful. The cottage was clean, comfortable, beautifully decorated. and stocked with all the necessities. We could not have asked for more. Thank you Jill and Pete!! The Fredericks
We had a wonderful time here. The cabin was newly updated and extremely clean. The host was so accommodating and quickly responded with any questions we had. We explored both Indian River, Cheboygan and spent a day on Mackinac Island. Would definitely take this trip again.
