Rest assured if something comes up in your life where you have to change dates of your reservation, we will try our best to reschedule for a date that works good for you ! Sleeping for 10.Close to marina to keep your boat in water for east access boating.
Walking distance to Mulett Lake, part of the Inland Waterway. Bring your boat to enjoy our beautiful waterways or just relax and enjoy the water and sun at our near by township park, with covered previllion, grills, picnic tables and dock to access Lake, and DNR boat launch. Enjoy going to Mackinaw Island for the day, also a great day trip to the upper peninsula, see the Soo locks, you can even take a tour boat ride on the locks, while in Sauté Saint Marie visit Sugar Island and stop for a burger at Clyde’s restaurant, you may even see one of the ships come through the Saint Mary’s River

We are nestled with trees and woods to give you that relaxed north woods feeling, and in the evening you can have a campfire with your family and friends and enjoy the serenity of our vacation rental in a very clean, spacious, comfortable setting that feels like home.

The master bedroom has a king size bed with memory foam topper, very comfortable bed and the other two bedrooms have a queen size bed, and the other has a king size bed, also have two twin beds and a daybed, Sleeps 10 comfortable.

There are two separate living/ family rooms for relaxed privacy, we are also handicap accessible entrance, master bedroom and bath on entrance level for handy cap accseesability .

For those evenings and rainy days we also have TV. And for those day trips we are close to Mackinaw City, the Mackinaw Bridge, Mackinaw Island, Ferry boat ride, Soo Locks,Aloha State Park, Black Mountain Recreation Area, Cross in the Woods Shrine, Casinos, Petoskey, Gaylord, Black Lake, and many more north country attractions. Boyne has the sky bridge , a beautiful chance to take some awesome pictures summer through fall, come winter becomes a beautiful area to do skiing!
New feature in Cheboygan is a glass bottom boat. A day trip pictuered rock in the UP and also The Soo Locks, so many things to do!
There is a charcoal grill, picnic table and stackable outdoor chairs for your outdoor pleasures. Always lots of fun year round, make our cottage your home away from home, you wil love the peace and tranquility here!

Now taking reservations for summer and fall and now we are open for winter, snowmobiling, skiing, and all the winter sports enjoyed by many ! Spring begins another beautiful season with mushroom hunting and fishing, with lots of fishing tournaments in the area, so many things to do! A life time of memories are yours waiting. We are now open for winter 2026, enjoy winter in northern Michigan, Boyne ski loft, black lake sturgeon festival, near black mountain, to name a few winter fun times, than come back to our cozy cottage! Also near Black Mountain Recreational Area.

We have owned this property for 35 years, the land has a lot of history to it and has been in the family for over 100 years. We moved hear permently in 2002 after retiring from downstate Michigan, during those 30+ working years we would always travel weekend and all vacation to our favorite spot here and now we are sharing all the beauty of the north woods country so you can enjoy it also, to make this your home away from home also, we live next to the vacation rental so we try to accomadate your stay to be very memorable!

The inland waterways are a very short distance from the cottage, with the dnr boat launch is just around the corner along with a beautiful township park that has a dock on Mullett lake for swimming access along wth a covered povillion, picnic tables and grills, what a beautiful area uto relax at. There are new bathrooms there and plenty of room to do horse shoes or other games to your pleasure.
