Fairy Hollow is a newly constructed Amish built cabin nestled within 65 acres of private land with a creek running through it. The cabin has a Hearthstone wood burning stove and a lot of rustic charm. It's a wonderful getaway surrounded by the beautiful nature of The Adirondack Park. The cabin features a screened in porch to enjoy the breathtaking beauty surrounding it and a perfect place to sit back, breathe in the clean air and listen to the peaceful trickle of the creek below. The cabin has an upstairs loft that sleeps 3 with a queen bed and a twin. The living area also has a locally crafted Adirondack style couch that becomes a very comfy bed. The cabin also has a complete kitchen where you can prepare your meals and perhaps enjoy them on the porch in fine weather or in front of the Hearthstone stove on the cool Adirondack summer nights. You can hike through the private land and swim in the local gorge which is a locally kept secret. Or perhaps take a short drive to the Great Sacandaga Lake. There are countless hiking trails, waterfalls, swimming spots and wildlife. Fall in the Adirondacks is like an expressionist painting full of vibrant color and beauty. The spring and summer is a riot of greens where you'll be lulled to sleep with the sound of crickets and spring peepers. The stars are always so clear and bright you can imagine you're viewing them from space. There'll be plenty to wish upon. The local villages have plenty of Small Town American charm with lovely antique shops, locally grown produce and farm to table dining. There are countless excursions you can take where you can enjoy tubing, kayaking, biking, fishing and boat rental. Peace, quiet and natural beauty are guaranteed.

Wonderful place to stay! Perfect retreat for our family of 5 while visiting relatives on the lake. Everything was well thought out and clean. We will be back again!
The cabin was perfect for our stay...clean, efficient, peaceful, and serene. The owners were very helpful and informative about the area. We visited Valerie at the Creekside farm and she was lovely and friendly and offered any assistance if needed. We will definitely look forward to renting again!
We had a wonderful stay the place was close to hiking trails. The cabin was beautifully and clean. We really enjoyed staying there and the ease of being able to cook inside with all the items provided. The owner was easy to get a hold of for our needs. We look forward to coming again!
I rented this cabin because of it's proximity to the hunting land that I had leased for the season. I was lucky to find such a gem hidden in the woods. This place was wonderful, it was clean and just very charming. The owners were great to deal with and made sure that the cabin was warm for me upon arrival by turning on the heat. This is a rental that I'm sure I will be using again in the upcoming years while hunting in the Adirondacks.
The cabin is cozy; 2-3 can sleep upstairs, with a pull-out in the main room. Kitchen is sparse (no oven, but stove and microwave suffice for most meals). Best part is the privacy, and the river out back. Kids can spend hours finding the best path down the hillside and stomping around the stream.
We love this area generally and we have done lots of hiking and camping around the nearby woods in the past. We came to visit my grandfather in Northville and to show our daughter our favorite hiking spots, and we enjoyed the cabin a lot. It was fun to experience the quiet and solitude and we got to use both the fire pit and the wood stove. Very cozy as nights are starting to get cooler. The cabin was clean, well stocked and furnished, and host communication was excellent. Our 2 year old loved exploring the cabin too and especially loved the porch swing. Highly recommend staying here if you want a base camp for a few hikes or just want to get away for a bit.
Adorable, secluded and perfect place to unplug and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature. My 17 year old daughter is hard to please and is constantly on her phone. She loved it and asked if we could stay again, next year. We will be back.
