Fit us perfectly!…
Loved everything about this house. Old school yet remodeled in a way to blend the traditional style with modern upgrades. Had everything we needed and loved the owners personal touch. We will be back!

Great little spot
We were in the area for my daughters 17th birthday. She loves hitting the state parks and going stand up paddle boarding and chasing waterfalls. The house was so cozy with the inviting smell of the diffusers and and spacious layout. There was only four of us bur took advantage of the many rooms. When we were in the house we played games provided or had movie time. The kitchen had everything we needed for a couple great dinners. You are just off the main road so if you arent use to the noise of cars and sirens then use the white noise machines. We hope to rent again in the fall for more great memories!!!

Host profile image
We are the Easton's and we have 3 beautiful children and a teddy bear doggy. We love to travel and we found it difficult to find houses that would fit our family so we decided to try our hand at Airbnb. We've been on this journey since 2020 and have fallen in love with hosting people in our homes. I love to see how others get to make great memories and have a comfortable place with hosts who truly care. I hope we can host you soon!

Why they chose this property

We chose The Palm Retreat because we love the ability to walk to downtown. We can also get to tons of hikes, mountains, and a couple of lakes within 20 minutes. Not to mention we are TIGER fans! This small town vibe is something we love to remind us of the important things in life- Family, friends and nice walks with them. It's a bit slower pace here but that is part of the charm.

What makes this property unique

Endless places to have an adventure. Lake Keowee, Lake Jocassee, Stump House Tunnel are the most well known. Download the "All Trails" app on your phone to find all the outdoor adventure. We have specific playlist for The Palm Retreat on the app to show the trails we have done and our experience. Walhalla Facebook page often lists the town's special events which there is usually something happening each week.
