About this property
Quiet cove, deep water, minutes to Clemson, pet friendly, easy path to the dock
This cozy 4 Br cottage has all the amenities of home and feels just as comfortable. With over 16
feet of sliding doors that face the lake, the views begin the moment you wake up. The large deck
provides ample room to expand your living space outside. The sleeping quarters are equipt with 3
queen beds and 2 twins. There is even a king size sleeping loft with large observation sky light
perfect for star gazing (please no children under 10 in the loft area). There is a short, lightly
sloped walk down to the 2 slip covered boat dock and deep waters that await.
Although this cottage feels like it is tucked away in a little piece of heaven, all the modern
conveniences are only blocks away. From grocery markets and restaraunts to bowling and movies, to public launch access and marinas,
anything you need is only a hop, skip and jump away.
The back yard is spacious for those families needing to bring along their 4 legged friend
and there is ample parking for families' guests.
Pets are welcome with prior approval and a pet fee.

About the host
Hosted by Karl & Erika Hoehne

We live in Asheville, NC, less than a 2 hour drive away. When the kids were young we called it "one Disney movie away". We love to be on the water and our families favorite thing to do is a sunset cruise on a warm evening to watch the sun go down over the lake.
Why they chose this property
We have always been drawn to the water and used to camp frequently on the lake. We would load up our boat, tent and dog and spend the weekends decompressing from stressful jobs in Asheville. When our first child was born, we realized very quickly that tent camping was not as enjoyable anymore and decided it was time to set some more permanent roots. This house was begging for us to reinvent it. So, up for the challenge, we bought this diamond in the rough. We lovingly took it apart and over the first few years spent our weekends putting it back together. It is the perfect blend of cozy rooms, open views and comforts of home.
What makes this property unique
This cozy little cottage has everything you need. It has enough space but not too much that you feel "disconnected" from your family. Deep waters and little boat traffic make it the perfect place to spend the day in the water swimming, floating or having jumping contests off the dock. If you start to feel a little water logged, enjoy an afternoon nap on the hammock under the canopy of the trees or challenge the kids to a friendly competitive game of horseshoes. Taking an outside shower after a day in the sun is the perfect way to wrap up a long day on the lake.
