Glad u had a good time. I went up Friday after u checked out. The TV/wifi was working fine. I think u may have tried the wrong remote. So sorry that happen. Take care
The owners were very nice and easily to communicate with. The home interior was very old with 2 broken recliners and a fridge that didn’t keep our food or drinks cold.

Thank u for ur review. I wasn’t aware that there is a problem with the frig so will check it out. House cleaner said it was cold when she had been there. The foot rest is broken on one of the recliners but the chair is so comfortable we left it while another one is on order. Didn’t know other chair was broken??? The house was built in 1992 not sure what was old about the interior. There are not a lot of new houses in Kernville. I appreciate u choosing my place.
My name is Carolyn Jack. I'm retired. I was born and raised in Bakersfield CA. My parents who have both passed left me this home so that my girls and grandkids could enjoy it for years to come. Kernville has always been near and dear to my heart. I am trying to keep this house so I decided to rent it out as a vacation place so that it can support itself. I have this place the way I would want to stay in it. I try to stay here as often as I can. My caretakers and myself work hard to keep this place clean and comfortable for our guests.
Why they chose this property
My folks choose this house because it was handicap friendly. My mother was in a wheel chair. The hallway and doorways are wider. It has handrails in the bathrooms as well. There is a sidewalk so you can go from front to the back in a wheelchair. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet. The neighbors are very friendly. I like that we can hear the river from the patio.
What makes this property unique
It is handicap accessible and roomy. It is walking distance to the river and downtown.
