A retreat like this is virtually unheard of. Six acres of in town waterfront privacy located in Sky Country, an exclusive mountain top enclave just a short distance from Dahlonega’s historic town square. From the moment you enter our gate & meander down the long private drive, you know this is indeed 'Bearadise'. (Sorry 4 the pun). Situated on, and surrounded by beautiful Yahoola Creek, this mountainside gem is breathtaking. With decks cascading to the river’s edge, your outdoor choices for places to take in the beauty of our home’s surroundings seem limitless. There are inside & outside porches, beautiful bedrooms, grills, a recreation room with a pool table and a spectacular old world bar. There are trails & a waterfront lounging area that oozes serenity, affording you a getaway setting conveniently located near everything & yet so removed that you would swear you were in the Alaskan wilderness. On those cool nights that seem so peaceful, sit by the fireplace and warm your heart

Beautiful views right beside the river--- well maintained house with plenty of room for everyone. Perfect balance of seclusion and yet just 5 minutes from downtown Dahlonega.
The host, Ken, was so nice, was accommodating and never was bothered that I needed to contact him. The cabin is in a beautiful location, it was very relaxing. True to the description, it is “in the woods” but also very close to Dahlonega. If you’re looking for a rustic, quiet and relaxing place to stay, I would absolutely recommend staying here.
Great location, comfy home, well appointed except for the lack of coffee (2 pods for 4 people for 2 mornings) which we thought would be available. Not a problem - just bring your own. Host was more than accommodating. Highly recommend.

A very enjoyable week. It was well kept and maintained. Plenty of room for everyone. A good location.very peaceful and relaxing we would be happy to return.
Pet friendly Cozy secluded chalet less than 2 miles from the heart of Dahlonega. If you want to be surrounded by nature but close proximity to town this well stocked cabin is just the ticket! The owner was super friendly and helpful. Our dogs had a blast exploring the Yahoola River right out of the back door. Plenty of decks to spread out on and enjoy the sounds of the river. You get an authentic feeling of what life would have been like during the gold rush of Ga. We had plenty of space for the kids, dogs, and family. If your goal is to WOOSAH then Bearadise Chalet checks all of the boxes!!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR AND thanks for coming to Bearadise -Do come again -kc
Beautiful property, feels secluded while still close to town
This rental was on a beautiful stream-side property that felt secluded and isolated while still being close to town. We loved having so many hiking opportunities nearby, we were able to visit several waterfalls within a short drive and still have time for lunch at nearby Wolf Mountain Vineyards. The property had everything we needed to celebrate Thanksgiving as a family, and communication with the property manager was seamless.

always glad to have guests who take great care to clean up- cleaning crew said property was spotless and house was left in as good a condition as they found it - would welcome this family back anytime - and do come again - thanks so much Ken
Comfortable stay with friends! In the woods next to the river but only 10 mins from Dahlonega Square. Property Manager was very thoughtful and gave great details.
The cabin offered much more than we were expectacting. There were multiple levels to enjoy outside the cabin. We didn’t stay long enough to enjoy the lazy river, but plan on returning to the cabin in the near future.
The cabin is well-equipped. It is at the end of a large, nice neighborhood, but it certainly feels private. The small creek is nice. The owner was readily available and helpful. We didn't need much, but he answered our questions.

Piece and quiet!
The Cabin was amazing, exactly what it promised. 5 minutes out of downtown, but still in the middle of nowhere! We where able to relax and enjoy nature!
The dogs loved the running around the creek bed, and the adults loved relaxing on one of the many rocking chairs or porches.
I would recommend this cabin to anyone looking to relax in Dahlongona!
We totally enjoyed our stay. Wish we could have parked the RV at the cabin, but mountain roads are too narrow. Our host was super nice and helpful. The cabin is amazing! Lots of great memories! Thank you Ken, for a place to remember with happiness!

A family of six plus two in-laws enjoyed the long weekend. The listing and previous reviews were accurate, “in-town but secluded.” 10-15mins from local attractions. Great home base for us hunting for waterfalls. Kids were able to play in the creek located on the property
Use Apple Maps, as Google Maps will lead you to the wrong location. Otherwise great experience extremely engaged and responsive host.

Family Thanksgiving at Bearadise Chalet
Thanksgiving 2018 will be one for the memory book! My daughter could not travel far due to pregnancy; so, we needed a cabin that would accept dogs. My 75 pound light golden retriever, grand dog, had a blast playing in the creek at the foot of the chalet! My adult children, son-in-law and I enjoyed our time around the fire place playing board games and eating way too much food in celebration of America's history at Thanksgiving!
