About this property

Our studio, nicknamed "Hike, Hike, Baby", sleeps two in a queen sized Murphy bed. We have a full kitchen with dishes and cookware. The best part of this experience is the location. Let the sounds of the rivers and wildlife give you peace.

The Bend Riverside Commons Condominiums line the Deschutes River and are directly adjacent to Pioneer Park. You have plenty of room to stretch your legs on our patio or in the park next door. Take the riverside trail north or south for a refreshing taste of the outdoors. The proximity to downtown Bend cannot be understated. You can walk to numerous restaurants, pubs and downtown boutiques in under ten minutes.

Our property does include an indoor heated pool and hot tub which are open daily so be sure to pack those swimsuits!

Basic cable will be provided in the rooms, that means your basic set up of analog channels. You are, however, most certainly welcome to bring your own streaming device, all tv's in our units are flat screen with HDMI hook ups. (HDMI cords not included in room)

Great little crash pad!

This is a great little spot if you are in the area hiking/skiing/biking and just need a shower, a bed, and a dog friendly place. It overlooks the river trail and is really close to downtown, which is great. Two recommendations for improvement are a more comfortable mattress (the murphy bed is pretty dang hard), and beef up the kitchen supplies a bit. It would be quite difficult to cook anything more than a very simple meal. But all in all had what I needed. Thank you!

Great location and view

Love the location, the view of the river, and the river trail access. We were able to park right in front of the unit under the overhang the whole three weeks we were there, which was great when it snowed. Having access to the lap pool and the hot tub was a great bonus. The place was clean and everything worked well. It was a bit cozy, as we stayed for three weeks, while I was doing some remote work, but we still enjoyed it. Management was acomodating when we asked for some extra towels and sheets due to our long stay. I would stay there again for a shorter stay, but might upgrade to a one bedroom if we were there for that long again.

Do not book this room

Where do I even begin with what a terrible experience staying here was. The room is old, disgusting, dirty, and half broken. It’s a total catfish situation, as the property/room are nothing like described on VBRO. You are basically stating at a motel, with a very rude manager who does not care about his guests. He will not help you and will gaslight you if you have any complaints (don’t stay here if you have asthma or allergies, you won’t be able to breathe properly). There was also a hole where the doorknob is, essentially providing people outside an opportunity to peep into the room. I can’t believe a room/ property of this poor quality is even allowed on VBRO. You’re better off staying at a motel, because at least you go in expecting a motel.

Weekend in Bend

Great location, we walked to town everyday. There is also a beautiful trail in between the river and complex, it will lead to other trails. The apartment was clean, and all amenities listed were accurate. The bed was a little stiff, I recommend a mattress topper for the comfort of future guests.
