About this property
Lopez Island, Crow's Nest #302
*** This home is people friendly, and not pet friendly. ***
When it comes to a waterfront oasis, it doesn't get much better than this Peninsula Road beach house boasting unobstructed views across the San Juan Channel and a spacious layout that will be perfect for accommodating friends and family with ease. This home has three Queen beds, and two full sized bunk beds. Start each day with some fresh air and a cup of coffee on the wraparound deck as you watch the boats and ferries pass by. A seasonal treat is the reef net boats that can be seen catching salmon! After enjoying the no-bank beach mere steps away or snorkeling to your heart's content, everyone will love streaming favorite shows on the flatscreen TV as smells of a homecooked dinner waft in from the fully equipped kitchen. Not to mention, the lofted layout will give those who want to head to bed early a bit of peace and quiet as the rest of the gang visits around the warmth of the stone fireplace.
Though this retreat sits at the end of the peninsula, there will be no delay in getting out and enjoying the island lifestyle. If fishing is on the agenda, Fisherman Bay Spit dock is within walking distance, so catch a big one! If you want to head into town for a bite to eat or groceries, Lopez Island proper is a quick four-mile drive away! This property also features a walkout reef for cold water scuba diving or free diving. Descend from the beach directly in front of the home. The reef is in 30-50 feet of water and is nearly 100' in length. You will be able to see many of the northwest's famous invertebrates, including urchins, anemones, sponges, and soft corals. The reef is also home to rockfish, colorful greenlings, wolf eels, and giant pacific octopus. The site is not current sensitive and can be dived at nearly any tide.
Please note that this home has 10 steps on a steep gravel path to get to the entrance.
Please note: residential internet speeds, bandwidth and reliability in the San Juan Islands currently lag behind the mainland. Guests who wish to use videoconferencing, streaming services, or multiple simultaneous internet connections should be aware that performance may not meet the levels they are accustomed to. Guests may need to alter their online work and entertainment plans due to service fluctuations or outages.
