Guests love being able to leave the car behind for dinner or a walk through the gardens.
Naples offers an endless list of things to do:
BEACHES
Naples has some of the most beautiful beaches in Florida, each with its own personality.
-Naples Beach & Pier (4 miles): Famous for its sunset views and dolphin sightings. The pier is great for fishing, and the surrounding area offers shops and casual dining. Metered parking is available nearby.
-Lowdermilk Park: A family-friendly beach with volleyball courts, picnic tables, a playground, and concessions. It’s a great spot for kids and group outings.
-Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park: Known for its unspoiled natural beauty, excellent shelling, snorkeling, and opportunities to see wildlife. Arrive early, as parking is limited.
-Vanderbilt Beach: Wide white sand, nearby restaurants, and a parking garage make this a favorite for convenience.
-Marco Island Beaches (20 minutes): Tigertail Beach is popular for shelling and birdwatching, while South Marco Beach is great for long walks.
GOLF
Naples is nicknamed the “Golf Capital of the World,” with more than 90 courses. Public courses like Tiburón Golf Club (home to PGA Tour events), Naples Grande Golf Club, and ArrowHead Golf Club are within easy reach. Many private courses also open to the public during summer months. Whether you’re a beginner or seasoned golfer, you’ll find pristine greens and scenic fairways.
FISHING & WATER ACTIVITIES
Naples is a world-class fishing destination. Offshore charters target grouper, snapper, kingfish, and tarpon, while inshore guides focus on snook, redfish, and sea trout. Pier fishing at Naples Pier is accessible and fun for all ages. Kayaks and paddleboards let you explore calm backwaters where manatees and dolphins are often spotted. For a family adventure, try a shelling cruise to Keewaydin Island or a sunset sail from Naples Bay.
EVERGLADES & BIG CYPRESS
Within an hour, you can be in the heart of Florida’s most famous wilderness. Everglades National Park offers airboat rides, ranger-led programs, and incredible wildlife viewing. Big Cypress National Preserve is a must for birding, photography, and scenic drives like Loop Road. These parks showcase Florida’s unique ecosystem, from alligators and orchids to rare panthers.
Paradise Coast Sports Complex
This state-of-the-art facility hosts national tournaments in soccer, lacrosse, baseball, and more. It also features a performance stage for concerts and community events. For sports families, staying nearby makes travel easier. Naples is also home to Naples FC, the local soccer club, adding to the city’s growing sports culture.
DINING & NIGHTLIFE
Naples’ dining scene is one of the best on the Gulf Coast.
Fine dining: The Continental, Truluck’s, Sea Salt, and Osteria Tulia.
Casual local favorites: Taqueria San Julian for authentic tacos, Celebration Park for food trucks and live music, and The Dock for seafood on the bay.
COFFEE & SWEETS
Bean to Cup Coffee Lounge, Narrative Coffee, and Royal Scoop ice cream.
DRINKS
Breweries like Ankrolab, wine bars like Rebecca’s, and lounges on 5th Avenue offer relaxed evening fun. Live music venues are scattered throughout downtown.
ARTS & SHOPPING
Naples offers a sophisticated cultural scene. Artis—Naples hosts the Philharmonic and exhibitions at The Baker Museum. The Naples Art District features galleries and open studios. Shopping ranges from boutiques on 5th Avenue South and 3rd Street South to modern retail at Mercato, where you’ll also find dining and a luxury movie theater.
OUR FAVORITE THING WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE
The Naples Botanical Garden is our favorite walkable destination. Just a mile away, this 170-acre garden features tropical landscapes, walking trails, and lakeside views. It’s a beautiful spot for a morning stroll or an afternoon escape. For evenings, Celebration Park is hard to beat with its food trucks, live music, and casual waterfront atmosphere. The ability to walk to both is something that makes this location rare and special in Naples.
