Communication was quick with the host, Check in was a breeze and the lady that checked us in was absolutely incredible. The tent was perfect and had everything we needed for the night, including a mini fridge and ample outlets to plug our electronics in to charge. The campgrounds were very well maintained and it was peaceful and quiet.
It was by sheer coincidence we found this place!! My son works at the playhouse in Forestburgh, and invited us all up for his opening show. Was just scrolling the web for a place to stay in the area that was relatively inexpensive for a group of all ages(teens- 80+), when this popped up. We all agreed that it was perfect for the number of people we had, and was a great reminder of a family pastime.
Upon arrival we were greeted by a very helpful staff. We were given all the assistance that we needed, shown to our site, and was left alone to enjoy our stay. Even with the extras the grounds offers(paintball, pool, and other things) there wasn't a whole lot of bustling. The site was quaint, had what we needed to be comfortable, and even through the downpour/thunderstorm not a single person in my tent was concerned for their safety, or if the tent would give way. I must say, these are some secure tents(and being in the military, Ive slept in a few that werent so, uhhh, sturdy)
Would definitely recommend this place to friends and family.
If youre looking for a place thats away from the hustle and bustle of the city, this is the place for you!!
The tent was clean and beds comfy. Owners left toys for the kids ❤️. It was nice to have a propane grill 😊 Showers were a little far from campsite and could have been a bit cleaner/modern. All in all a nice glamping experience.
