Chalk It Up Festival Weekend

My friend and I had a great time staying at this home when we went to Beaufort for the Chalk It Up festival. It had everything we needed. My bed was so comfortable. I loved the experience at this home.

Anchor House is clean, cozy and comfortable

The cottage is in the perfect location to enjoy everything that Beaufort, Lady’s Island and Port Royal have to order.We love that the area is great for lovers of history, wildlife, scenery and sunsets. It was nice to come back to Anchor House at day’s end!

Fantastic experience!!

Wow this place was amazing! GREAT location, one mile from the waterfront and historic downtown, walkable neighborhood, clean and tastefully decorated, with all necessary conveniences. Back yard was bigger than we expected, with a table and chairs for morning coffee. Access was super easy via electronic front door lock. 10/10 would recommend to anyone wanting to visit historic Beaufort, SC!

All you need in a cute home! Great location. Owner responded very quickly to a clogged drain. A minor inconvenience that was handled very promptly. Very comfortable stay!

Convenient location on a quiet street. This may seem picky but no cable television. We aren’t fans of streaming services. Otherwise very enjoyable.

Oh my, the house was perfect and as advertised. You can tell the property manager really cares about the people that stay in this house, that it's not just a business. They have so many nice touches that most short-stay rentals don't even think about. One example: We arrived later than expected, and they went back and turned on the porch light so the house would not be dark upon arrival. Thank you so much for a beautiful house and stay.

Charming, Quiet, Convenient

This darling little VRBO cottage was perfect for me and my husband. The house was clean and updated with everything in good, working condition. The washer & dryer were a great bonus! Loved the updated bathroom with roomy walk in shower! We made good use of the bikes and annual pass to Hunting Island State Park. We would definitely consider returning to this location.

Cozy little house

The house was everything the listing said and more. The location was perfect for the activities we had planned. We went to Huntington island multiple times and the unexpected park pass was a great bonus. I the kids loved taking the bikes down to the waterfront area. We brought stuff to go crabbing and the house didn’t have a pan to cook them it we rectified that, then donated it to the house for the next family. Only downfall for me was the bed in the first bedroom. It was broken down in the middle causing back pain. My husband had no issues in the same bed so it must have been just the one side. Overall would 100% stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking.

Anniversary Trip

The cottage was very welcoming. We loved the personal touches. The only suggestion we have would be the beds. One bed needs a new mattress and the other bed makes noises as if the bed might collapse. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect!! Thanks for everything.

Perfect Weekend House

The Anchor House was clean, cute, and perfect for a weekend visit. The kitchen had all the supplies we needed and check in and clean up were a breeze. The only very tiny improvement I'd recommend would be adding a bench, chair, or side table to unpack/organize your things in the second bedroom. It was the perfect place for us to stay, we had a great host experience, and we plan to return!

Anchor Cottage has it all

Easy check in and directions to this quaint cottage. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking. Love how throw blankets were available. Fluffy bath towels and comfortable bed. Made full use of the bike, however the front and back brakes do need servicing. The park pass was also a nice perk, Hunting Island was fun. The neighborhood was mostly quiet and peaceful. Will stay here again.
