11 Illinois Ave- NEW PRIVATE POOL just installed Fall of 2022! New 8ft privacy fence installed around pool + fire pit + new landscaping! New exterior pictures coming April 2023! We love that the home gives you the unique Lewes beach cottage feel but with a very modern flair! The original hardwood floors could tell a tale of summers past, yet the modern sleek furniture makes you feel in luxury. The home is spacious, the photos do no justice to the size of the rooms. The dining area has enough space for a feast, the living room can hold everyone for movie night, and the game room...well this room is a vacation all itself. There is a pool table, basketball, ski ball, shuffle board, air hockey, darts; so much fun in one room! This will be the place where memories are made! Three bedrooms, including the primary, are located on the first floor. The primary bedroom includes 2 king beds and a bathroom with a shower. The second bedroom offers an additional sitting room with a gaming station and a half bath. There is a full bathroom in the hallway and a third bedroom. The second floor boasts a large room with 6 single beds, perfect for one family or all the kids! Dogs are permitted with a $500 non-refundable pet fee per pet- 2 animal maximum per reservation.

A linen package can be purchased for your stay. The cost of the linen package for one week's stay is $325.40.

Very good location walking distance to beach. The pool was the best part about the house however when we got there the pool was a little dirty sand and stuff at the bottom of the pool and we had to ask for a new skimmer. We vacuumed the pool ourself. Also the landscaping at this house was horrible!!! Everything is overgrown which makes the outside pool area feel dirty and a place for more bugs. The outdoor tv screen did not work and even if it did we did not want to sit in the dirty overgrown space for it anyway and it’s in the mulch. Lots of power washing needs to be done. The inside couch is falling apart. House is good overall but major updating needs to be done. We had a good time.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review Paige. Had we'd known any of these were a concern during your stay - we would have addressed the. The owner will be power washing the house this fall, and he's having his landscaper do quite a bit of work as well. The pool is serviced and cleaned every Saturday during the summer season. The property is located just steps to the beach, so it's normal for sand to get in the pool each week during a guests stay. The owner also plans to replace the outdoor movie screen this fall. You're also the first person to inform us of any damage to the couch, so that will be addressed as well.

Great house for entertaining a large group! So many games, and the heated pool really was heated and made a big difference for us when the weather wasn't great. We really enjoyed the large dining table and had all meals there. Comfortable beds, big TVs, and the two fridges and dishwashers was a big plus too. Especially loved the modern outdoor shower. Will definitely be back!

We had an amazing time staying here and on this vacation! Nice location, with small town feels, nice shops, good food, and super friendly people! Definitely a great spot if you like to avoid big crowds! The house is definitely a gem! It definitely kept the kiddos happy the whole time! 2 minute walk to the beach, coming back jumping in the pool, playing in the amazing game room, making s’mores at the fire pit! This house definitely has just about everything you will need, fully equipped kitchen with all your kitchen staples, propane grill with propane and grilling equipment, lots of board games, puzzles, and some toys, pool toys, beach chairs and some sand toys, multiple tv’s and Wi-Fi…you literally only have to bring your consumables and personal items! Check in progress was super easy! The property manager, Miles, was super helpful with any questions or concerns I had and responded promptly! We definitely plan on staying here again in the future!

Stayed in July, 2026 with 8 family members, including a toddler and a newborn and 1 dog. The house is roomier than the pictures suggest. The pool is amazing and we enjoyed it a lot. Easy walk to the quiet, clean beach. It’s on the bay so no big waves, which was perfect for young children. We saw a lot of wildlife including foxes and deer especially on the sand dunes, which we loved. Very walkable neighborhood, and we were pretty close to Lewes shopping/dining and Rehoboth. The dining room is great and we all fit easily and comfortably. The air conditioning is great, we were comfortable even through a pretty bad heat wave. There was plenty of parking. The beds were comfortable. We loved the wonderful outdoor shower and the game room! We didn’t use the zen room and wished it was another bedroom instead.The grill wasn’t the best, was a little dirty and my sons in laws weren’t happy with how it cooked. The kitchen was generally stocked well with plenty of plates mugs and cups. Wish there was a juicer and a whisk. There are 2 refrigerators and dishwashers which is great. The dishwasher in the kitchen is not bolted in or even and the trays needed care lest the bottom one roll out and onto the floor. Wish there was a dresser in the master bedroom with 1 king bed. The closet in that room was a bit musty and we didn’t use it.Overall we had a great time. Would stay there again, but we really need 1 more bedroom for our crew.

Great Place!

Lewes, DE 1st time stay

This property was our first staying in Lewes. I loved that this house seemed to be an original. It has some of the cute cottage touches. The pool was fabulous and the location could not be beat. The neighborhood was wonderful and we had an overall excellent week. I loved the house but the potential it could have with a bit of upkeep would have made this house over the top.

Amazing Memories

The house was the perfect summer get-together spot for my extended family. The pool, fire pit, outdoor cinema, game room, and beach access made for some great memories. While the house does have some wear and dated bathrooms, it has everything you need to keep a big group entertained. We would book again.

Great place to stay

We had one of our best family vacations. The weather was perfect the house location was ideal and the house had everything we could want.Including a pool which was used in addition to the ocean. We had a small issue with the air condition and Miles who was managing was so reactive and had it attended to very quickly. Thanks for everything. We will definitely be back.

Can't beat the location and layout of the house. Short drive to restaurants as well. My disappointments come from the lack of overall cleanliness of the property. Upon arrival there was a strong animal urine stench upon entering the property. The floors were a bit grimy too. The backyard/pool was not cleaned. I know there were recent storms, but this looked like it had not been touched since the last visitors. I will admit, the communication was excellent and the problem was addressed with pool cleaners the next day. The beach, game room and pool all left our stay with positive family memories, I just wish they were taken care of prior to our arrival.

Awesome location- good for families with kids

Ample parking, beautiful pool, and outdoor space. Spent majority of time at beach which is steps away. Made it easy to go back and forth for food and every else. Watched movies outside and built a fire one night too! An entire room of gaming devices on the first level next to the kitchen and living room. Many blinds and doors were difficult to navigate. AC was not working but owner was responsive.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay! The house is very comfortable with good furniture and plenty of space. The beds were all great and the game room was tons of fun! I enjoyed the screened porch with the large table for morning coffee and the walk to the bay beach was literally steps! You can tell the property has had some thoughtful updates which were great but I would recommend adding a dishwasher, some updating to outlets are needed and both full bathrooms could use a little more updating for the price. The space in the home is used very well and it was a great location. Would absolutely stay again.

All went well after some trouble figuring out the heating. Home wasn't winterized when we arrived on a 40 deg day. It was 51 deg inside and furnace and baseboard heating weren't working. Spoke w property mgr who was making efforts for tech to come but we couldn't wait as it was freezing. Bought 4 space heaters for our use. After a lot of trouble shooting on our own, checked the main elec panel and found to our surprise that all the breakers to heating system were in off position. Got the baseboard heaters working but furnace never started. Space heaters were adequate to keep the upstairs reasonably warm. No one was ableTo come thru our stay and we made do. Nice stay overall other than the heating issue. We may have been the first winter renter and they hadn't winterized the home prior. Listing agent said our expenses will be reimbursed as well as some compensation for our lost day. Sounds legit but I'm still waiting for word from accounting, 20 days later.
