Family wedding

We chose this property for our son’s wedding week because it was pretty convenient to most locations and the beautiful outdoor area would be great for friends and family to stop by throughout the weekend, and that did work out great. The kitchen is very well equipped which was welcome for a few dinners early in the week. The beds were very comfortable as were the pillows. I definitely give it a 5 star review but the only minor things that could improve the experience would be more and better towels, both bath and pool. And because we were there in the spring, to use the hot tub and have it heated, we had to message the host each time. He was very responsive each time but it still felt strange to bother him, so we probably used the hot tub a little less than we otherwise would have if we had control ourselves. The only downside of the outdoor area is that close neighbors frequently were burning brush and at times we had to go back inside because of the smoke. Assuming this is a seasonal issue. Overall a great property and experience.

Nice little family stay

Great stay. Isaac was very commutative and even let us check in early. Bed was so comfortable and loved the master shower and outdoor living area. Kitchen is beautiful and wish I would have gotten a chance to cook in it. Overall great experience, house , and owner.

Spring Break Vacation

We came to Spring/Tomball Texas for Spring Break and visit Family that live in the area. The house was perfect for us. The big kitchen/living room area and the outside pool/tv area are Awesome for entertaining! We had a great time and both the kids and adults enjoyed swimming and the hot tub! The rental included a lot of amenities which was nice too. We had an issue with the cleanliness of a bathroom but the owner was very nice to accommodate us! The owner was great with his communication and timely response! Definitely would recommend and stay again!

Nice place, to much Micromanaging

The house and yard are very nice. The only downside is that you need to message the owner every time you want to use the hot tub or want to change the Thermostat. Most places i’ve stayed at have a 60 minute timer on the hot tub which works well so you don’t have to bother someone every time you want to use the tub.

Family Vacation

We had a wonderful time, despite the remnants of Hurricane Beryl. Our littles ones loved the pool. It was very private, large enough for everyone to have their own space, and kitchen was beautiful. Highly recommend!!

Really nice property

The home is updated, roomy and tasteful. The kitchen is huge and well-stocked. We spent a lot of time in the large saltwater pool; which also has a hot tub feature we did not use because it was July in Houston. Our only issue was cleanliness. The home was not dirty, but it was obvious the cleaning crew did a quick superficial cleaning-up without vacuuming, etc...However, the management was very accessible and tried to remedy the situation as quickly as possible.

Great Family House

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely home when we came to Houston for a wedding. The layout was great--offering areas to lounge together or retreat for privacy. Kitchen and grilling area were fantastic. We loved hanging out in the pool to stay cool in the Texas heat. Communication was fast and responsive. Highly recommend!

Family visit

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was very spacious and easily accommodated our family of 9. The interior was spacious, very clean and the owner thought of everything. The exterior was just as great with the pool and the spacious outdoor living area. We will rent this house again!

Perfect place to gather family

The listing is as it states. It is clean, has anything you made need, it's updated, it's the perfect gathering place, large, and wheelchair friendly. We had 6 adults and 1 toddler and we all fit comfortably! Each space was fully wheelchair accessible. The owner's communication was timely, thorough, and pleasant. Having accessibility to smart tech features, a pool with a hot tub, and a gigantic patio were all great pluses too. We all agreed that we wish we could duplicate this experience anywhere or anytime we travel!

Houston Golf Getaway

Our eight guys were accommodated easily with some cots. Plenty of room for everyone. The host was very responsive when accommodating our hot tub needs. The outdoor space for gathering for dinner and watching the Superbowl was fantastic. Could not have been more happy with our stay. Thank you.

Great Property in Tomball/Spring Texas

The house is amazing. The back yard is amazing. They have everything you need. Isaac stayed in constant contact with us and was receptive to anything we needed. The kitchen is crazy big with any appliance you might need. Two ovens- Alexa controls lights and who knows what else. The main Master bathroom is crazy with a walk in shower that is straight out of a Beverley Hills Mansion. I highly recommend this property. Things to bring- wood for outdoor fireplace and a starter log. Thats about all everything else is there. Stores are very close by so just in case you need something, youre 5 minutes away.

Wow!!!

The property was great and luxurious. Fabulous kitchen allowing us to cook high end meals. Security was great with a gate closing off the back area. Beds were very comfortable. Even though it was Christmas weekend we were able to relax outside and visit. Immediate communication if needed from host. Highest quality rental property I’ve stayed.

Proverbs 31st Christmas Retreat 2023

Isaac the home owner took terrific care of us in his home. He answered so many questions and was available each time I sent him a message. The home was Beautiful and the kitchen was drop dead Gorgeous... The two master suites were Beautiful and in one of the Master suites the Shower was Unbelievable! It was Beautiful! The outdoor patio is another keeper. Love this Home and the Retreat of Relaxion it gave us. Thank you

This is a Wonderful Taste of Texas!

Great Experience

This is a very beautiful property. The pictures does not do the property justice. The host was very friendly and accessible. This was definitely a home away from home. Big Texas!

We had an amazing time. The house is beautiful, from the moment you pull up and open the gate. Check in is so smooth, Isaac is a wonderful host and very prompt to answer questions or get anything we needed. The pool was exactly what we needed throughout our stay in the Texas Heat!! The house was so accommodating and then some. We had everything we needed to make meals and coffee etc. Beds were clean and comfortable, rooms were very spacious, but the KITCHEN is amazing. Have the space to spread out and make large meals it was great. The property is so nice and relaxing as well. Overall we had a successful, much needed vacation. We forwarded the information for this home as we have friends that want to come out some time. We definitely recommend The Wilsonian!

Nice property! Great pool

The property location and layout is perfect! My children had so much fun. Host was quick to respond on heating and turning on the hot tub. I believe he set it on the schedule we requested because it was on every morning we went out to relax. Great location fairly close to highways close enough to the beach. Would recommend this home. Would stay here again.

Beautiful Home

Stayed at the Wilsonian for a family vacation. The home is beautiful. The kitchen is impeccable and equipped with everything you need to cook a meal or bbq. Bedrooms are comfortable and bathrooms are gorgeous. Outdoor kitchen/patio and pool is where my three teenagers and I spent alot of our time and had a blast! I highly recommend staying here!

Best Rental EVER

The property is beyond amazing. The outdoor area is absolutely a perfect place to gather. The walk-in pool is fabulous and we spent the majority of our time outside in the pool or on the HUGE covered patio. Isaac is so responsive and great to work with. I have been renting houses for 12 years and this has been the best experience and house by far!

Hot Wedding weekend in Houston

We were in town for wedding weekend with family.The location to our venues was perfect. The house was perfect for our group, multiple rooms, bathrooms, large fully stocked kitchen, plenty of room inside and outside. Pool was a hit with my nieces and nephews.The owner provides a link to the house so you know where everything is and directions on AC, Pool hot tub and waterfall. Not deal breakers, but I would have liked to know the AC is on a schedule and cannot be lowered by renter. You can change AC once during your stay and temp can only be increased. Houston in June is hot and got a little stuffy getting ready in bedrooms for afternoon wedding. Would have been nice to turn down AC while getting ready. The family areas were cool. bedrooms were cool when you went to bed but about 3-4am the scheduled temp increased so we turned the bedroom ceiling fans on so we did not get stuffy. The pool was amazing and it does get hot which is expected in June in Houston. The pics show pool umbrellas but we’re not out for our stay, the covered patio is amazing. The waterfall is turned on remotely 3:30pm to 7pm. you also had to ask owner to turn on hot tub, we did not use as it was hot. Owner does send you link of these things shortly before you arrive including AC, hot tub, waterfall. House shows slight age. We have rented a lot of vrbos and think 5 stars don’t have restrictions. House was otherwise just as advertised and we enjoyed the pool and outside area for our group

Compliments all around

We had booked this home for a stay for family and also to host an 80th birthday party for my father. The place is beautiful just like the photos, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The only negatives had nothing to do with the owner. A neighbor rode his go cart a lot and it was very loud. The a/c wasn’t working properly but the owner was quick to call an HVAC repair service. The home itself needed to be cleaned a bit as the cabinets were dirty and the bathrooms could use a deep clean, not filthy, just not “hotel clean”and I’m sure the owners hide a service for that. All that said, we would definitely come back. The pool was fantastic and it is a great place to host a party of family.

What makes this property unique

As we move into mid-life, we are starting to enjoy the benefits of having a single-level home without steps. It makes access so much easier on the knees and hips. It's nice having the flexibility of cooking either inside or outside, and the use of the walk-in Private Pool and Spa also make the property so much more enjoyable.
