About this property

Nature Retreat - 2 private cabins in a magical Redwood forest with ocean views

Nature lover’s rustic retreat in a pristine old-growth redwood forest with stunning ocean views. Experience glamping with family or friends in the comfort of two private cabins: the Redwood TreeCabin, featuring a redwood deck and French doors opening to the forest, and the Earth Cabin, artistically crafted from adobe earth. Enjoy firepits, a firebrick pizza oven, a gathering area with earthen benches, solar string lights, an ocean-view hangout zone, and a hammock. Relax in the outdoor bathtub and shower nestled in a redwood grove, surrounded by acres of forest.
You’re just a five-minute drive from beautiful beaches, parks, and nature reserves, and only ten minutes from historic Fort Bragg. Soak in the peaceful sounds of the ocean and birds as you reconnect with nature at this off-the-grid retreat—no WiFi, simple solar lighting, and outdoor amenities let you fully unplug and rejuvenate in the rare magic of ancient redwoods (only 5% of old-growth remains worldwide).
We are new to Vrbo but “super hosts” on another platform—let us know if you’d like to see our 5-star reviews before booking. As locals, we love sharing our favorite spots and activities. Adventure is minutes away: horseback riding on Ten Mile Beach, tide pooling and whale watching at MacKerricher State Park, guided kayaking, the famous Skunk Train and railbikes through the redwoods, plus our favorite hikes. Choose from several beaches (Ten Mile, Pudding Creek, Virgin Creek, Seaside, Glass Beach) just 5–10 minutes away, or simply soak in the serene magic of old-growth redwoods on the property.
Please reach out with any questions. We’d love to welcome you for a glamping adventure in this magical forest retreat! — Ben & Grace

Amazing experience!

Our stay at Ben’s place was incredible, I was only sad that we could stay only one night. Being amongst the redwoods was so cool and the cabins were clean, comfortable, and cozy. Ben was super accommodating and was clearly investing in making sure we had a great experience. Having a cup of coffee in the morning among the stillness of those tall giants is not to be missed!
