Overall the cabin and our stay was great! The cabin is very cozy and I wouldn’t recommend more than 2 people staying there. It runs along a creek which is very peaceful to hear but the cabins and properties around were not maintained well. No where to walk around the property. The cabin itself was simple. Nice water pressure but the pans and kitchen itself was dirty. I’d recommend brining your own cookware. The cabin was about 30 minutes from Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.
We got what we expected with Stone Creek. It’s a tiny little cabin, the pictures are accurate. We were snug with two adults, an infant and dog. I would not recommend trying to pack in anyone else although there is loft space.
We enjoyed our stay and would consider booking again. If you plan to cook, consider bringing your own pots and pans. The ones provided were scratched up.
Cleaning was fair. Dust on lamps, blinds, windows upstairs loft.
Only had 4 pillows not comfortable very worn. One blanket that was thin.
We were two adults and two boys 12 years old.
Bit of a tight fit for our size with the two boys. They did enjoy the creek behind us.
Staff was friendly and helped us get wifi.
First and foremost I want to say Jeff with parkside rentals is the only reason this place gets 2 stars. As far as the listing on VRBO it isn’t what you see in the pictures. The cabin was clean and has been kept up with but it’s more of a tiny home or hunting cabin. If you value a comfortable bed and a nice shower this is not where you want to stay. It will take you approximately 30 minutes to get to Gatlinburg and a good 45 minutes to pigeon forge. If you have more than 1 car good luck parking it, the parking space barely fits 1 small car.
