Peaceful getaway

We have stayed at this property multiple times to get away for a weekend and catch up with friends. Idyllic setting, well-equipped kitchen, and comfortable lodgings. Can't ask for much more.

Incredible Stay

We stayed with a group of friends for a class reunion, and had an amazing time. The property is beautiful and the host was so willing to help us set up lawn games and handle the trash. They were extremely respectful of our privacy at the same time. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Extended Berkshire Stay

This was such a wonderful stay. My wife and I needed a house to live in for two months. This house was wonderful! It had everything that we needed and the hosts were so attentive. We brought our two dogs and the property is great for the dogs to run. The house was cozy and we had a fire almost every night. We would highly recommend this house and we would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Visit Back Home After 16 Years

My husband and father along with my 2 kids and close family friend and 2 dogs had a amazing experience visiting my home state after 16 years. Amanda and her husband Andrew where amazing and were quick to respond to any needs or questions we had. I highly recommend staying here and my family and I will be sure to stay here again on our next visit!

Country Getaway

What a property! Picturesque pictures, room for the whole family and then some. Wonderful kitchen and fireplace, fully stocked with wood and starter. The kids love the game room with fully stocked board games, card games, and outdoor toys for all kids and adults. Host was very responsive to any questions I had! Would definitely and will most likely stay again

Great house for friends and kids

We spent an all too brief weekend at Fickle Fox Farm and it was great. The house was clean and spacious with a fantastic, well equipped kitchen, numerous places to lounge and hangout, kids books and games, and lawn games. It was a short drive to swimming in Lakeville and a delicious dinner in Great Barrington. Amanda was very responsive and gave us great recommendations for nearby food and activities. We will definitely return for fall hiking and skiing!

Perfect Getaway

This home was exactly what we hoped. It's is very quiet on a large piece of property which was wonderful for our dog and spending time outside. The fire pit was utilized for s'mores each night. You could definitely have a large group of people comfortably here. There are numerous living spaces inside and out. We loved that there is a screened in porch for when it might get buggy. We can't wait to visit again.

Amazing Quaint Getaway

We had the most relaxing long weekend here. Andy and Amanda were gracious hosts, always responsive and more than accommodating. The farmhouse was a dream for us. We traveled with 4 adults, 6 children and 3 dogs - and still had space to spare! The loft area was amazing for all the kids to have a giant sleepover in! We even fit a tent up there for fun! The property is well maintained and in a very convenient location. There’s a waterfall and swimming hole nearby, fishing, hiking, wineries, and a great farmers market in nearby New Barrington. The house felt like home for 4 days and we hope to return in the very near future. Thank you Andy and Amanda (and your sweet little girl) for having us! See you soon.

Perfect getaway in every way

Every aspect of renting and staying at this wonderful property was five star. Amanda was welcoming and extremely gracious. The property itself is amazingly well laid out. Staying in a newly renovated place that is done so tastefully and thoughtfully felt like a luxury vacation. I cannot recommend staying here highly enough to anyone who is looking for an unforgettable and relaxing stay in a truly spectacular setting.
