Lake Road Cabin B — Million Dollar Ozark View!

Katie’s Lake Road Cabin B is a rustic beauty!  This cabin is one of three cabins on the property.    This heated and air conditioned cabin is packed full of charm.  The cabin has a lodge theme through-out the inside.  Wake up in the morning with a cup of coffee and step outside to listen to the sounds of nature all around you.  At the end of the day, savor the sunset.  It would be perfect for a couple's getaway or a great place to bring the family.  The cabin is so centrally located that you could spend five days here and not be able to do everything there is to do within a twenty mile radius. This property also has a beautiful location.  It is close to town yet very private.  The view from the front porch is breathtaking. Nothing beats the quiet of the country and the sounds of nature.

This spacious cabin has a open layout for the kitchen, dining room and living room.  The  roomy, bedroom loft is located upstairs and has two comfortable, queen sized beds.  The cabin also has a couch and a set of twin bunk beds that help it sleep seven comfortably. Refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee maker and blender are just a few of the amenities included in the kitchen.  The dining area includes a small bar and a dining table.  There is a washer and dryer in the laundry area.

The cabin is completely stocked with bedding and towels.   The property has a charcoal grill and a fire-pit.  All you would need to bring is your food and clothes to feel right at home!  

Arcadia Valley offers something for everyone! Hiking, biking, disc golf, mountain biking, fishing, camping, swimming, kayaking, history and more!

Excellent restaurants, lodging, and shopping!

Only 90 minutes southwest of St. Louis, you can be here in no time at all!

Loved our stay at the cabin! Beautiful views across the street. Nice porch for sitting. We were impressed with how clean it was for a log cabin. Great spot to stay while enjoying the shut-ins, Elephant Rock State Park, and the Black River.

Great cozy cabin for our family of 6. Very nice central location for state park play at Elephant Rocks, Taum Sauk Mountain, and Johnson Shut-Ins. We opted for Castor River Shut-Ins. Cabin was clean, well stocked, and homey. Host was fantastic and communicated quickly. We would stay here again.

It was a perfect spot to start the day of hiking the shut ins or climbing Elephant Rocks. And a wonderful place to wash away the day and relax. Close to great food options and groceries or necessaries.Clean and comfy. Beautifully decorated!We will be back!

We really enjoyed this cabin! It was very clean and super quiet. We loved listening to the frogs in the evening. The cabin is near lots of things to do and serves as a great home base. The check in and out process was easy and Katie responded quickly to all messages I sent. I would recommend this cabin!

Cute 2 bedroom 1 bath cabin. I wouldn't say it has a million dollar view (you have to walk to the road to see the million dollar view that is across the road). The only other issues were the bathtub drain - which drained VERY slowly; and two of the burners on the stovetop do not work. For the nightly rate, everything should be in tiptop shape. The upstairs beds were fairly comfortable and the mini splits did a great job of keeping the cabin cool.

The cabin was cute, and had most everything that we needed! The location was really close to several natural areas, and just a couple of minutes from town. We loved the view of the valley and played cornhole at night. I was disappointed that the AC did not work and the bedroom we planned on having our kids sleep in (with bunk beds), didn't have an actual door. They had to sleep upstairs with us, and it did get quite hot without AC.

We had a lovely visit to Arcadia Valley. I brought a friend who had never been there and we enjoyed all of the sites and visited with family. The cabin was perfect. We counted 29 species of birds from the front porch and watched the lightning beetles in the field across the road. It was magical.
