Gorgeous Ocean Views in Modern Beachfront Home

La Vista Bonita, meaning the beautiful view in Spanish, lives up to it's name! This home sits oceanfront on a secluded white sand beach on the Gulf of Mexico. Your feet hit the sand at the bottom of the stairs. This 3 bedroom home is perfect for families and couples looking to relax and unwind.

A serene retreat on Alligator Point located within Bald Point State Park creates a secluded, natural environment. During your tranquil walks on the beach you may not pass anyone else along the way. This is old Florida at its finest, known as the "Forgotten Coast".

The house itself was built in 2009 and extensively remodeled in 2024. The home is finished throughout with custom details and furnishings. The improvements done in 2024 include a new primary suite bathroom with a beautiful tile shower, new custom tile shower in the hall main bath, new blinds, painting, lights and many new pieces of furniture. The open floor plan offers living areas that include the kitchen, dining, and living room. Enjoy gorgeous ocean view from all windows, including the two large bedrooms upstairs. There are two covered decks with incredible views. Watch amazing sunrises and full moons from inside or out. See dolphins as they break the waves. Fish, hunt for shells, sunbathe, or just sit waterside with a cold beverage and take in the scenery. Ocean breezes and sunlit skies make for the perfect day!

DirectTV, Wifi, and a DVD player are included, along with a large selection of movies for adults and children.

Cook your catch of the day on the gas grill and enjoy your meal on the deck with view of the ocean. In the evening sit around the beach fire pit while gazing at the stars.

This home does not have an elevator and is not handicap accessible. The stairs as show in the pictures are the only access to the home.

We had a wonderful vacation at this property. The gulf is only steps away from the house which makes carrying items to the beach essentially a non issue. The house was well stocked and immaculately clean. The beds were comfortable and the porches were great for dolphin and pelican watching. The provided kayaks were really enjoyed by our teen boys. We will be back.

Amazing Home!

This is a beautiful property right on the ocean. Everything was exactly as described in the listing. We had a very relaxing and peaceful week being able to rest on the beach and watch dolphins swim by!

Family Time

Wonderful place to enjoy family! We were there to celebrate my fathers 80th birthday. The location was perfect. My grandchildren loved being able to play in the sand. The Brickley’s are awesome host and are quick to respond.

We enjoyed a quiet and relaxing week at the beach with another couple and our dogs. It was amazing walking down the stairs barefoot and stepping right onto the sand! We enjoyed the grill one night and making s’mores at the firepit!

Very peaceful and relaxing getaway.

We were looking for a place on the beach for a long weekend with our two dogs and this home did not disappoint. The location of the home is on a quiet road that doesn’t have a lot of traffic or noise. The home is clean, well appointed and very comfortable. Our dogs enjoyed running along the beach chasing the seagulls and being in the water. If you are looking for a place to relax and unwind this is the place for you. The hosts were very easy to work with and communicated well. We will definitely be back again when it’s time for us to decompress.

Tranquility Just Out the Door

We stayed at this Alligator Point property over New Years and absolutely adored the house and location. Brian and Lisa were exemplary hosts: they provided quick responses to every question, helpful advice about the area, and a delightful welcome box full of Florida-themed treats. The house was extremely comfortable and clean (though it seemed as though previous guests had put away some dishes/utensils/etc. without properly cleaning them, hence our removing one star on that count) and the views out every window were stunning. One of the highlights for our entire group was watching a family of dolphins swim by while we were eating breakfast. The exterior spaces and "beach items" (kayaks, sand toys, chairs, etc.) were plentiful and added an additional level of convenience and comfort to our stay (relaxing around the fire pit while listening to the waves roll in and stargazing is an experience second to none). Overal, we were extremely pleased with our experience and will happily book Brian and Lisa's beach house again any time we visit Alligator Point.

Like having your own private (paradise) beach!

We vacationed the second week in August-- so kids may be returning to school and it may have been quieter than is usual. So if you are looking for a peaceful, quiet and private getaway you have found the place. Steps from the ocean with gorgeous, beautiful views from two of the second floor bedrooms! Each equipped with king size comfortable beds and linens. The lower level offers the same majestic view out into the ocean; with a kitchen, living and desk area all offering this spectacular view. If it is high tide, it almost feels like you' re on a boat in the ocean! The Gulf is that close! Just breath-taking! Also on each side of the home are porches with a grill and small table/chairs on one side and couch and chairs on the other side. Great place to enjoy your morning coffee and the rolling sound of the ocean waves. Morning walks along the beach are peaceful and serene not encountering any other beach goers. You can walk for miles if you choose. Be sure to talk a night walk and bring a bright flashlight. Thousands of ghost crabs scurry across the sandy shore. Also at low tide there are numerous conch shells and other shells, along with exposed crab traps full of their ocean catch. Amazing to see all the sea life! There is a fire pit for a bonfire and comfortable Adirondack chairs. Overall the house is very comfortable; equipped with all the necessities. Loved how all the lights were labeled! We were able to quickly settle in and it felt like it was home. Definitely would come back again for a peaceful, quiet getaway—but next time stay a little longer. :-)

We had a great time- wonderful home. We fished, kayaked, played board games, watched sun rising and setting, hunted crabs, ate great seafood, played in apalachicola, St. George, and Wakulla Springs… beach is super private, which is exactly what we were looking for. The starry sky at night was amazing! Beds are comfortable and house was clean. It had all you could ever need. Trailer full of toys was awesome. The beach water was brackish and very warm- wasn’t expecting that in the gulf. But it didn’t stop us from having a great family vaca. Ty for sharing your home!

Great house in a great location. We didn’t want to leave, even stayed an extra day after the kids and grandkids left. Shopping and restaurants 20 minutes away. Easy contact with host. Good shore fishing and charters available. Hope to come again.

Why they chose this property

Having visited the panhandle many years ago when our son was young we found the Forgotten Coast to be beautiful, quiet and free from the endless high rise buildings found through out most of Florida. Lisa had one major criteria for finding our dream home " I have to have a view of the water!" When we found this home in Alligator Point right on the gulf, we knew we had found "La Vista Bonita"!

What makes this property unique

Did we mention the view! It's absolutely breathtaking! And the fact that this is a modern home with everything you need means the perfect vacation. Being surrounded by nature within the Bald Point State Park gives opportunities for amazing outside activities such as nature hikes, biking, fishing, and boating. Although secluded you are still close to many restaurants.
