This cozy 1-bedroom studio, with its own private entry next to the main house separated by garage, is located on a one-acre land harboring the most unique feature of Hawaii Paradise Park in Keaau and offers a real retreat from the busy world. Within a 5 minutes' drive you can sit on the stunning swirling lava-made cliff to hear the amazing rhythm of the ocean, feel the cool ocean breeze from the middle of the Pacific and be the first person to see the beautiful sunrise on the island. The property is in a great location close to Volcano National Park(VNP), Black Sand Beach and Downtown Hilo, with easy access to shops, food and amenities. It is an ideal place if you are looking to get away from crowds and noisy tourist areas.
The room has been furnished with brand-new amenities: King-size bed with 14" Comfort Memory Foam Mattress, 3-seat Harstine Leather Sofa, apartment size Refrigerator, 50" smart TV, microwave, K-cup coffee maker, Kettle, double Burner Electric Cooktop, Extra standing fan, 300M Fiber high-speed Wifi, Google Home Mini, wireless phone charger, and many more items.
The street from the main road to the property is unpaved but is a very short distance. The water source is from a water catchment with triple filters and UV filtration system, it is safe to drink.

Clean and comfortable

The space was as advertised, clean, modern and comfortable. No AC but with windows open and fans sleeping was no problem. A bit of a drive from downtown Hilo but a convenient overnight for heading to the volcano.

Perfect stop for Hilo and Volcanoes NP

We stayed one night and couldn’t be happier with the room and location. The property was exactly as described. Communication and check-in with the host was fast and efficient. I needed to go to the ER early the next morning and the host confirmed that we found the right hospital and not an immediate care or children’s hospital. We would’ve been happy to stay longer and enjoy the other amenities but it just didn’t work this time. We will definitely look for this room next time when we are back in Hilo.

Awesome launch point for Volcanoes NP

Popped into Holly's place in advance of our visit to Volcanoes NP. Really great location and clean place. Perfect for getting a solid night of rest and getting some laundry done before for the park. Thanks again Holly.

All was great host was friendly helpful and told us of the area and places to go on the map. We sat and talked like people that had known each other for years. We had to leave one day early and she said if we ever came back she would credit us 2 days. All was perfect

Just perfect!

Super clean brand new lovely little place. Great location close enough to everything and still quiet at night. Decorated super cute which we loved! Spacious and thoughtful how everything was placed and organized. Mahalo for the wonderful stay. When we go Hilo again will definitely wanna stay here. 🌺

Fantastic!

This was the perfect place to stay for one night or one year: immaculately clean, quiet, beautifully appointed, with every convenience. I could have stayed there for a month or longer. Holly was so kind, respectful and helpful: right there at the gate, to help me enter the property after dark. I high recommend her place to any single traveler or couple.

Very clean spacious place for two

We wanted to stay someone on east side and this place we cleaner then some hotels we’ve stayed at. The host was friendly and very accommodating. The pros: Very clean and the shower had very hot water. Had general necessity like fridge, microwave, etc. location was great to get up early to see the sunrise at paradise cliffs. Minor cons: Didn’t have an air condition, so we kept the windows open (cooled off later in the evening), but since the road was gravel we could hear cars drive by.

Beautiful, Secluded, Quiet

This property was exactly what we were looking for in our stay on the Hilo side of the island. It’s perfect if you’re looking to get away from the crowds and noisy tourist areas. Tucked away in a cute neighborhood and not too close to neighbors. It’s quiet, exceptionally clean, well equipped and plenty of space inside and out. Easy access to shops, food and amenities. Check in was easy and smooth. Holly is a fantastic host and communicated throughout the planning, check in, stay and check out. We’re so grateful we had this beautiful place to stay. Great stay

I wouldn’t say our stay was a complete 5/5 but it was a 4.8/5. Overall it was clean, NO BUGS, the host was super nice. We could definitely use an AC. The nights does get cooler but would love it even more if it was even cooler. Some helpful tips as well: Needed a full size mirror Including a grill or a cook top. Overall a great location in the HILO side of things. Have a grill or a cook top.

Island Hopping

My husband and I stayed one night at this property. It was very clean and well maintained. Bed was very comfortable and Holly was easy to communicate with. Smart tv and nice kitchenette. Only thing I would have liked was air conditioning. Even with the fans going and windows open it was still too warm at night for me to sleep. Other than that I would definitely stay again!

Perfect Getaway at a Beautiful New Construction Rental

Love this new construction rental. It was nice to be on the ground level. King Size Bed was super comfy. Beautiful tiled bathroom with great tub/shower combo. While there is no AC, the open windows, ceiling fan and room fan kept us cool. The small kitchen was perfect for us as we enjoyed our meals out, but where able to keep drinks cold and use the microwave to heat up our leftovers. This place is nicely decorated and felt like a home away from home. Close to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Holly was a great hostess. Will not hesitate to recommend to friends and family.

Love the brand new feeling of this property. The host is friendly and attentive. You will not be bothered as privacy is highly valued. Access to the unit is provided via a gate remote and room key. The unit is spaciously furnished with a tall fridge, microwave, toaster, ceiling fan, portable fan, and Keurig coffee maker. As guest you also have access to the rec room/garage that furnished with grilling pans, water and a ping pong table. Laundry room is shared with the main house. Beach towels are available in the closet along with extra bath towels. I would definitely recommend this unit for anyone that want to get away from the city life, noise, and tourists. However, Public Transportation is not available so renting car is a must!

Comfortable Hilo Side Stay

We stayed in this property for 10 nights and it served as a good central base for exploring the east side of the island since we wanted to visit areas around Hilo (20-30min drive) and Volcano (40-50min drive). Holly was a very kind and attentive host and checked in with us periodically to make sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay! The main thing to highlight from the listing is this property has no air conditioning. We kept the windows open all night with fans going, but it was still on the warm side for us (we're from an area of the mainland where everyone has A/C so I'm sure our tolerances are lower than some!). The open windows also meant some of the outside noise from surrounding yards was louder in the morning and the bugs could sometimes get inside a little more easily. Altogether though this property was clean, comfortable, and well stocked. We appreciated having access to high speed internet, washer/dryer with laundry basket, an outdoor space to enjoy the rain showers, a full sized fridge, and beach towels!

I was with my husband and our infant. The place had most of appliances and services and stuff you would need. But one thing I didn’t like . The cockroaches! We find a lot of them that I wouldn’t want to open any more kitchen drawers. The place has the garden view but it more like a farm .. and it has a garage with ping pong table . More of the time we couldn’t use it or play with it because our neighbors all the time were invading it and they didn’t leave until afternoon when we already were outside! So we played with this once through all our stay . Also the laundry for the whole place was inside house those neighbors so that we couldn’t wash our cloths anytime we need . Although the owner was very nice to us and helpful. She helped us to wash the clothes by calling those neighbors and make sure they will not mind to wash our clothes in morning!! This the only thing that bothered me . Other than this it was nice staying there ! But for a family need privacy and comfortable place with available laundry at any time I wouldn’t recommend.
