River Retreat

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful views offered at this cozy riverside space. The bed was comfortable, and the shower was great! It is conveniently located... within walking distance to Marker 24 Riverfront Grille for a waterfront lunch or dinner and only a short drive to Cocoa Beach or the historic downtown area. Thank you, Kathi, for being so responsive. We appreciate you accommodating us and our pups!

Piece of Paradise for sure!

Everything about our stay was phenomenal! We would definitely like to stay there again. The morning view over the water was amazing, nights were clear for star gazing, and dolphins swimming at the dock! Our host was very kind and helpful. When we walked in, I already felt at home.

Great little jewel in Merritt Island!

Nice and private place in a charming neighborhood! Enjoyed watching the sunrise from the sunroom and dock, watching the Osprey’s dive for fish in the river and loved the dolphin sightings! Definitely a do-over!

Quiet local experience for area exploring

Based here while I explored the Refuge, Daytona Beach & Melbourne. Everything is just 5mins from the house to eat, get coffee etc. Just a 10min hop to Cocoa Beach. The waterfront location is quiet. I watched 2 rocket launches from the dock. Saw dolphins at sunrise. The kitchen was handy to prep breakfast & the host provided extras like bottled water & Q-tips. My favorite place was lying on the furry lounger to get some sun in the morning!

Lovely dock

My husband really liked this rental because he likes to fish and the dock was just steps away. There was a Keurig for coffee, soft towels, nice soft bed, cute bathroom. A nice little place.

Perfect

This was absolutely perfect for us. We just needed a one night stay after a cruise before our flight the next day. We originally booked the bottom apartment but they ended up having some damage from the hurricane. They went above and beyond and offered us the upstairs unit. It was very cozy and had a beautiful water view. We even enjoyed fishing from the dock and caught so many different fish and even saw dolphins both in the evening and morning.

This little slice of heaven displays relaxation at its best from Sunrise to sunset. The owner is very sweet and communicative. A must see for yourself.

Peaceful as well as excitin

I had a meeting in town and stayed the night at this place. It was so relaxing on the water and the unit was decorated very nicely. We had a perfect view for a rocket launch which was very exciting. Neighbors were friendly and the whole experience was perfect.

Wildlife, rockets and sunrises, oh my!

The backyard is paradise! We enjoyed the river breeze while sitting on the dock. Relaxed watching the pelicans and a few dolphins. It is also the perfect place for coffee and sunrises. The dock is the perfect, unobstructed view to experience rocket launches. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood. The house was clean and had everything we needed. We will definitely be returning!

PERFECT for Single or Couple!

This was such a cute place, had everything you’d need in a location that was peaceful and close to everything! The am’s having coffee on the dock and watching the birds and dolphins was so wonderful. The owner was super accessible for any questions! The neighbor to the right was very nice, it was fun watching him fish each morning! Perfect place for a small dog, the fenced in yard was great. I was able to have a peaceful place to sleep then go visit my parents about 12 mins away on the beach-the perfect set up. The restaurants are close by, a quick drive. I’ll definitely book here again when visiting my parents!

Relaxation and Peace

We were only able to stay here for two nights during a busy trip to the area. We chose this location so that we could unwind on the dock directly on the river. It was very peaceful! It was easy to get in and communication was great.

Overnight Stay

Unfortunately something came up on our way home from our honeymoon and we did not stay overnight and drove the last 8 hrs home. Owner was nice enough to refund us our money and checked to make sure we made it home the next morning.

Perfect location/great apartment.

Why they chose this property

Really is a magical place. Every day something new to see in the river- a mama dolphin and her baby, a manatee feeding off the rocks, schools of fish, pelicans diving for their dinner... So close to everything but far enough to do nothing.
