A very private road. We arrived a few minutes early and the cleaning team was very friendly and did a nice job preparing the house for us. Great space and lighting for our sewing group. An enjoyable week.

Cleaning service is poor!! Garbage left in garbage cans in bedroom!! Towels in dryer - dining room table sticky -not clean - 4th bedroom needs a bed - not a couch - porch chair is not appealing - dishes still in dish washer - !!! However - the place could be charming - living room , kitchen, bathrooms were fine -we enjoyed our stay but just wanted you to be aware that the cleaning service is inadequate !!

Beautiful house, fabulous location

The house is across the street from the river in a quiet, relatively secluded location. A great place for hiking, even in the early spring. Yet it's close to great restaurants and fun shops. Can't wait to come back!

Perfect Location for Family Stay

I needed a convenient, large location for family members coming to visit for the Holidays. The Schwemer House was ideal. The bedrooms were comfortable and well-appointed. The bathrooms were clean and newly remodeled. The kitchen was open to the living area and dining table so it was easy to be part of the conversation and fun as meals were prepared. Altogether, it is a terrific place for the cost. I highly recommend it and will probably use it again for next year's Holiday season.

Loading a video to view the door code was a little tricky, only 1 LTE bar at that location for T-mobile. That said, the way the lock works is kinda non-intuitive (the wait for lights to come back on) so...The shower handle in the non-master bath might be on upside down.

Great location, quiet neighborhood, lots of trees

House located in semi rural part of Mequon, with lots of trees. Nice walking & still close to town activities. And layout & decor of house is nice. That’s the good part. I’ve stayed in many short term rentals, this by far is the least cared for property. Difficult to get into house as given wrong door code. Took 45 minutes to get correct code & get in house. First night, had to wash dishes before using them , as they were sticky. House description says four beds- fourth bedroom is stiff hard sofa bed with no sheets. It is Not a double bed. Our group had to bunk up, as couldn’t use it. These are all things that could be remedied- but need to be addressed.

Great little house

Even better than advertised. This was a very organized home that was a great place to recoup during a local conference. 4 adults stayed comfortably. Even the sofa sleeper was above average.
