Welcome to our cozy cool Adirondack riverfront cabin, located in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains of upstate New York.

The cabin is on a river that is dammed to the south far above any pollution from power plants and also damned from the north at the Sackandaga reservoir and Sackandaga Lake. The 7-mile stretch of water is well maintained as a calm, slow flowing Lake.

This cabin is the perfect escape for those looking for a peaceful retreat in a natural setting. With stunning views of the river and the mountains, you'll feel truly immersed in nature.

The cabin is situated on a private waterfront property, complete with a dock for fishing, swimming, kayaking, or canoeing. Enjoy the sounds of the river as you relax on the Adirondack Chairs or gather around the fire pit for an evening of s'mores and stargazing.

Inside, the cabin boasts rustic charm with all the modern amenities you need for a comfortable stay. The open-concept living space features a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, and cozy seating area with a gas fireplace. 729 Square Feet cabin on Hudson River Waterfront with access your own private 32 foot long Dock, including the 8 x 8 pad at the end. There are 2 ACs, a 14,000 BTU and 6,000 BTU AC.

Use the rowboat and the 3 Kayaks - 2 sit on top and 1 Fishing Kayak or Launch and Tie up your own boat. Boat launch is only one mile away upstream at the Public Boat Launch.

You have sole access to entire 1/2 acre residence and waterfront.

What a beautiful cozy cabin. Everything was exactly as described and then some. You just really need to throw some clothes in a suitcase and get in the car. It's located close to everything and yet you don't need to go anywhere if you don't want to. Clean, comfortable, quiet, relaxing, spacious, beautiful, all the great adjectives. Just what the mind and body needs. I didn't want to leave. I will definitely be back. Thank You.

A terrific relaxing time for all especially our lab that loved wading in the river, morning walks through the neighborhood or just sitting on the lawn in the cool breeze. The house had everything we needed and was so comfy. Noise from the vehicles across the river could be loud at times but just became background noise to the birds and chipmunks on the property.

Cozy Cabin with River View

Very relaxing stay at this cozy cabin on the Hudson River in a great location. Near lots of great hiking and other activities. A huge plus that they accept dogs. My dog loved it and was calm and relaxed. Hosts are great at communicating! Would stay here again!

Great place to relax!

This property is a great place to sit and enjoy your loved ones. Joe is easy to work with and very responsive. My pups enjoyed the lake and loved running around outside. The neighbors were friendly and we really enjoyed ourselves.

We had a lot of fun staying here! The kids and dogs really enjoyed the River. We kayaked and grilled. The neighborhood was nice and about 20 mins from lake George. The host communicated everything and was very nice. We loved it!

Great location

We had a VBRO canceled on us 10 days before our trip and found this little gem! We did not realize it does not have air conditioning, but luckily the days did not get too hot and the nights were perfect. The beds are the downfall of this cute cabin! We had springs poking us in the back all night long. The spring mattresses really should be replaced.

Summer trip

I went with my husband, two girls, and our pets. We had a wonderful time! The place was so cozy and exactly what we wanted. The girls loved swimming in the river and my husband enjoyed the hammock right in the huge backyard. There was enough space to play fetch with my dog and to sit around while toasting marshmallows to make s’mores. The property managers/owners were gracious and quick to respond to any inquiries we had throughout the process. While there, we played miniature golf 5 minutes away and rode aqua cycle toys in a nearby bay. No washer/dryer or oven, but there was a small toaster oven that worked just fine. Highly recommend.

Idyllic riverside getaway

We stayed here for our honeymoon and cannot say enough good things about the property and Joe. Joe provided us with complimentary surprises since he knew it was our honeymoon; we felt very welcomed. All of the property is in excellent condition and the accoutrements (kayaks, grills, adirondack chairs, kitchen/dining ware, bedding, etc.) were in good working condition. Entertainment was easy in such a beautiful setting, both indoors (amazon TV, complimentary DVDs, books, etc.) and outdoors (take a dip in the Hudson river, kayak, or take 30-40 minute drives to excellent hikes). The location is convenient for both enjoying the local area (check out Butler park on Wednesday nights for live music and food trucks) and further afield upstate New York (we enjoyed horse races and a great evening in Saratoga which is 40 minutes away). We hope to return to celebrate anniversaries; the property and Joe are that good!

Simply amazing

This is my friend and my third time coming to the ADK region for vacation in the fall-this is by far our best experience yet. Joe not only sent an email with the check in process but also made sure I received it and had his cell phone number for any issues. The cabin was spotless and cozy- the little touches of decorations/candles gave it a very welcoming feel. The area was beautiful, so many places to hike and explore! It was great to have a fire by the river in the evenings and a cup of coffee watching the dog roll off the river in the mornings. Joe was very responsive once we got to the cabin, answering our questions regarding how to access movies and reached out to let us know how to watch football on Sunday. If I could give Joe a 10 star rating I would! HIGHLY recommend this little slice of heaven!

Ketcham High School; Columbia University with an M.S. in Chemical Engineering; Fordham University with an M.B.A. in Finance; and, the State University of New York with a B.S. in Chemistry/Pre-Med with minors in Physics and Math. He has served as the Wappinger Fourth Ward Councilman for 14 years from 1998-2012; and, as the Town Clerk for the last 9 years from 2014 to the Present.

Town Clerk Paoloni was previously employed by the Swiss Ciba-Geigy Corporation from 1990-2009 where he spent 2 years on assignment with his family in world headquarters, Basel Switzerland. He was the Director of Pensions, Trusts, and Investments managing $1 Billion in assets for the US, Canada, and Mexico diversifying Defined Benefit (DB) Pension assets; and, running his proprietary DB risk managed fund using structured derivatives. He also selected and monitored the line-up of Direct Contribution 401(k) funds ensuring their mutually exclusive diversification and safe risk adjusted rate of return.

Joe worked in Mergers and Acquisitions and Major Capital Appropriations for W.R. Grace and Company in midtown Manhattan from 1983-1990. From 1977-1983 he worked as a research Chemist and Engineer for the Pall Corporation (1977-1981) and Liquid Carbonic and Air Liquide (1981-1983). He teaches at Orange Community College, is a licensed Notary Public, a certified Tax Preparer, has passed Level 1 of the CFA exam, an expert in derivative structures, and language proficient in MS Access, Visual Basic, and German.
