Lakeside restaurants and Dreher Island are easily accessible within 10-15 minutes by boat. Whether you prefer sunrise or sunset views over the tranquil waters, this retreat offers a mesmerizing backdrop. Days can be spent fishing, lounging, or utilizing the private dock (boat not included). The circular drive near a point ensures a safe haven for families with kids on bikes. Conclude your lakeside adventures by the fire-pit or grilling on the new gas grill.

Indoor Comfort: This haven provides all you need for a cozy stay. The fully equipped kitchen with a lake view is perfect for home-cooked meals, and the open living/dining room boasts expansive lake views through floor-to-ceiling windows. **Due to an increase in fraudulent behavior, Bloomingails will require the booking guest to provide a copy of their government issued ID/Drivers license as well as electronically sign STR contract (same as listed on VRBO platform) immediately following approval of any booking request. *Guest ID will never be used in fraudulent manner or shared. Fraud, by either party, guest or host, is frowned upon and may result in loss of member privileges by one or both from VRBO.

CONTRACT SIGNING: For all parties best interest, we do require that a separate STR (Short term rental) contract be signed electronically along with the VRBO platform booking request. This will be sent via your email address provided. Booking of property on VRBO platform is agreeing to this requirement. Guest agrees to withdraw/cancel booking request if failure to sign agreement is indicated after booking is accepted. Check-in information will not be provided. Host will not be penalized.

SECURITY DEPOSIT: A refundable security deposit is required with each reservation. This deposit is held to cover any costs related to:
Excessive cleaning beyond standard turnover
Damaged, broken, or missing items
Unauthorized guests or pets
Smoking or evidence of smoking inside the home
Plumbing or maintenance issues caused by misuse
Any other violation of house rules or terms of stay

We understand normal wear and tear happens, and we strive to be fair and transparent. The deposit will be refunded in full within 6 days of checkout, provided the property is left in good condition and no deductions are necessary.

If any portion is withheld, we will provide a detailed explanation and documentation (photos, receipts, etc.) to ensure transparency.

LIABILITY WAIVER: Our property provides you with a unique opportunity to swim, fish, enjoy the decks, dock, fire pit and outdoors. We want you to take advantage of these amenities and have a memorable visit. However, by agreeing to our House Rules, you acknowledge that there are inherent risks involved with participating in these activities and that lakes, docks, decks, stairs, campfires and boating may present dangers for adults and children. Children must be carefully supervised at all times when near the water. If you swim, boat, kayak or otherwise in the lake (especially children) we strongly recommend the use of life jackets (there are some provided in the lockers on screened porch. Please reach out to owner for exact sizes provided). No diving off the dock is allowed. Depending on the amount of rain, the depth on any sides of the dock can vary as well as the possibility of submerged logs. By booking a reservation on this platform, you acknowledge having fully read and understand this liability disclaimer and the potential risks discussed above, agree to accept full responsibility for any bodily injury that may occur to you and others in your party, and waive any claim whatsoever against the owners for accidents or claims arising from these activities.

Why they chose this property

Since the 1960s, this property has been an integral part of our family with weekend camping trips to the property. The home that sits on the property now was constructed in 1999. Countless weekends and holidays have been shared here, creating enduring memories. From boating and jet-skiing to tubing and swimming, every lake activity has left its mark on this special place. Our mother took immense joy in opening up this beautiful space to anyone willing to spend time here. Recognizing her good fortune, she considered this place a true "home" and desired to extend that sense of blessing to others. In accordance with her wishes, we aim to share her "happy place" with others, confident that they will come to love it as much as we always have!
