DREHER DREAMS CABIN-LAKEFRONT- + FISHING, KAYAKS,PADDLEBOARDS,6 BEDS SLEEPS 8!

FALL SPECIAL! Dreher Dreams log cabin , is a newer constructed log cabin with both lake and equestrian decor. It is located right next to Dreher Island State Park. Enjoy amazing views and a wonderful variety of wildlife including bald eagles, herons, egrets, songbirds, deer, ducks and geese. Fishing is great right off the dock! (See pics) and a boat ramp is inside the Park just minutes away with a 5 minute boat ride back to the dock. 2 kayaks and 2 paddleboards are available for your pleasure. Cabin is easily accessible for a senior citizen with limited mobility through the back porch off the driveway. ( see pic #7 right rear of house by screened porch).With wide water views and both sunrise and sunset views, my wife Teresa and I (rather than property managers unfamiliar with a property) want to ensure your vacation makes everlasting memories!

Absolutely perfect!

Everything was on spot! We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay! My sister caught a giant fish, which made her week! The house was immaculate and fully stocked, and the view was amazing.

Great location, Quiet and Clean!

We had a great family stay here at the cabin. Everything was as advertised, Ron and Teresa communicated before and after the stay. We rented a boat and were able to keep at the dock. The location is great being back in a cove with very little boat and road traffic. Will definitely stay again when coming back to this area.

Lakefront Retreat

We have been coming here the past three years and it our favorite stay of the year. Cabin is tastefully decorated inside and perfect for our group. Plenty to do outside with the paddle boards supplied with the cabin. The Denti’s are wonderful hosts and make sure your stay is memorable. I would recommend this property to anyone staying in the area and looking for a relaxing trip.

Great house in a great location

Really enjoyed the stay here. Great house with everything you need. Awesome, well landscaped shaded yard to enjoy. Really liked the outdoor space. Multiple kayaks and paddle boards available for all to enjoy out in the cove and a good swim spot in front of the house. Hosts were super responsive to a all questions and very accommodating. Can't wait to go back.

Wonderful Vacation

The house was amazing, we were blown away by how clean the property was and how well appointed it was from the linens to the fully stocked kitchen cabinets. We brought our boat and the dock had electric hook up so I could plug in my onboard charger and we enjoyed using the kayaks and paddle boards. A wonderful vacation at a wonderful home, can't wait to book it again.

Lake Luxury

Amazing stay, even during Tropical Storm Debby. This place has everything you need and then some! Fishing, kayaks, paddle boarding. Close to jet ski and boat rentals. What a view from the living room. Communication was top notch. We will be back!

So beautiful!!!

These pictures don't even do it justice! It was breathtakingly beautiful and peaceful right when we got there. The kids loved fishing off the dock and throwing rocks in the water from the beachy area. The inside was very clean and beds were cozy. We enjoyed the playground and hiking at the state park 2 minutes away. We'd stay here again!

This cabin is adorable! The accommodations were perfect as was the location. The cabin was equipped with all the necessities. The kayaks and paddle boards were the icing on the cake! If we ever head back that way again we will rebook!

Unmatched Peace

We had the pleasure of staying at this incredible location, and while the pictures are beautiful, they simply don't do it justice. Our family had an amazing time. Teresa and Ron, our hosts, went above and beyond by checking in with us before our arrival, which was especially thoughtful during the Christmas holidays. Teresa also recommended some great nearby dining spots and stores, should you choose to step out of this stunning retreat. The amenities were perfect—everything we needed was provided, so there was no need for any extra shopping. The views are breathtaking, and our grandsons keep asking if we've booked the cabin again. Don’t hesitate to book your stay; we can’t wait to return!

Hit Re-Set and Let Nature Do The Rest!

Perfect location to boat ramp. Easy in and out with fuel at dock. Private swimming area with peaceful shoreline. Loved jumping off the dock, fishing, paddle boarding and canoeing. Minutes from the cute downtown Chapin and minutes from boating in or driving to Buffalo Creek Grill. Quiet cove for relaxing and watching your kids enjoy the outdoors. Theres something for everyone here. We will certainty br back!!!

Labor Day Family Vacation

This property was EXCELLENT! It is everything is says it is plus more. The check-in was seamless and owners communicated quickly. This home is beautiful! Fully stocked with everything you need, including water toys, games, and more! We went with my parents, three adult children and my 3 year old grandson. We had tons of fun fishing and swimming off the end of the dock. The firepit was a nice addition to enjoy smores in the evening. We will rent this property again!

The place was great had a wonderful time

enjoyed my stay here, couple of issues upon check in the (unfolded) sheets were thrown on top of the beds making the beds look unmade and did not know if the sheets were dirty or clean. I also had a issue with hornets getting in the cabin, found the nest outside and they were coming in thru a crack near the roof so it was to high to spray

Tranquility on Lake Murray!

We enjoyed the tranquility of the location as well as the cozy and comfortable amazing cabin. We used the outdoor firepit nightly, grilled dinners on the gas grill, and watched sunrises and sunsets. The views of the lake from inside and outside the cabin are FABULOUS! We cook most of our meals, so we appreciated the variety and amount of cookware. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of clean linens. There are lots of lake “toys” available to use and we got the chance to use our fishing poles right from the private dock. This cabin is located close enough to Dreher Island State Park that you can walk right over which gave us the chance to hike the trails and explore the shore line inside the park. Kudos for providing a great movie collection! If peace and quiet at the lake are what you hope to experience, we highly recommend this place. The check-in process was easy and the hosts responded immediately to requests. We are planning on returning soon.

5 Stars – Perfect Lake Getaway!We had an incredible stay at this beautiful cabin on Lake Murray! The property was absolutely gorgeous — clean, well-kept, and surrounded by nature. Being right next to the state park was such a bonus for hiking and exploring, and we loved being able to fish right from the dock. The provided kayaks were a fantastic touch and made our days on the water even better. The owner was super friendly and helpful, making the whole experience smooth and welcoming. We couldn't have asked for a better place to relax and recharge — we’ll definitely be back!

My wife Teresa and I are both healthcare professionals who moved from NJ to Lake Murray in June of 2020. We enjoyed living in our dream lake log cabin until October 2021
when we returned back to NJ to provide oversight and care for an elderly family member where we anticipate we will remain for a number of years. In the meantime, we will enjoy helping make your vacation memories as wonderful as our personal experience was!
