Very clean and charming, with thoughtful historical details scattered throughout (since it was originally a teachers cottage). Comfortable beds and a well-stocked kitchen. A great location within walking distance of the main downtown and right across the street from a wonderful bakery. We loved the yard and patio and enjoyed our stay.

This was a very cute historic place. Our family of 4 enjoyed staying there, with the kids in the upstairs. Close to Silver's downtown main street Bullard.

We enjoyed our stay and the property was very clean. The amenities provided were great. The location was perfect; park the car and walk everywhere in the old town area. Host was very responsive to questions and information.The property description did not mention stairs. The second bedroom is up a steep set of narrow stairs which is/could be a challenge to someone with knee issues.

The house was apparently built in the late 1800s and is called the teacher's cottage (I think.) It had all manner of interesting photographs, paintings, birds nests, old cameras. The only thing I would like to see done differently would be to have some sort of write-up about the history of the house.At one point the air conditioner in one part of the house broke. I emailed the owner and it was repaired and back to normal in a matter of hours. The house is a block or two off what I thought of as the main road with lots of restaurants, interesting shops (especially book stores), and art spaces.
