It was my 2nd time staying here. Always a nice stay especially my quick travels to Seward, Gridwood or Whittier! Had some moose in the yard this time around, a pleasant surprise . Would stay again.

Place was great! Nice quiet location, helped i'm sure by the sound dampening foam that pays homage to it's recording studio past. Easy commute to the rest of Anchorage as well. Stayed two nights and it was all very convenient. There was a small issue with the automatic lock when we first showed up, however the host answered my message promptly despite being on the slope, had the issue solved within minutes, was incredibly communicative and very courteous and kind. I cannot express how nice this guy was. You can tell he's doing his all to make this a nice place to stay for locals and tourists alike. He actually cares. I would highly recommend this place and this host!

Great Stay!

This listing was perfect for our two nights in Anchorage before our cruise out of Seward. Rented a car and it was very easy to get around from here :) Clean, quiet and just as described!

Best Deal!!

After checking prices of rooms in Anchorage, we found this place. It was significantly less expensive. The room was exactly as advertised. Ben, our host was extremely helpful in terms of finding places to go and suggesting places to go eat. Ben had the perfect mix of being helpful and also giving us our privacy. Everything we wanted to see or do was easily accessible at this location.

Lovely Bungalow

This small space was just the ticket for a launching pad for my Alaskan adventure. Ben is a super helpful and hospitable host. He is very helpful and knowledgeable on the area. The small apartment was clean, private and comfortable. I’ll be back! Thanks Ben!

Positive: no window in bedroom so you don’t have the constant sunlight. Also only a short ride to the airport. Negative: decor and furniture very run down. Everything was old and peeling. Didn’t like that we weren’t able to lock the doors to the room as there are two outside doors that lead to the main room. I’m sure that this place would be great for someone else, just not me.

Very nice convenient place to stay . Quiet and relaxing and dark if you have ever been to Alaska with very long day light hours. The dark was very nice to go to sleep at this place with lights out. Glad we came and glad we stayed here.
