Overall, we had a nice stay at this little place in Otter Lake. Everything was sufficient for what we needed during our stay.We did try to run the dishwasher before leaving, but the button was sticking and we weren’t able to get it to work properly.Communication was easily a 10/10! The host was incredibly quick to respond and very easy to communicate with, which made the stay very smooth.The location was convenient, and there’s a convenience store within walking distance, which was a nice bonus.

The property was not what we had seen in the pictures. The bedding was musty smelling and the bedrooms were not as expected. Also the bathroom was not disclosed that a grown man could not stand up right to use the toilet. The stairs were steep with carpet and for being in our seventies it was not very safe. Overall this is not a property we would stay at again or recommend to friends.

I am sorry that you didn’t enjoy your stay. I assure you that all the bedding are freshly laundered with each guest. The house is over 100 years old. The stairs are steep, and there is a slanted ceiling in some rooms -both of which are noted in the ad and the pictures.

Cutely decorated! Couldn’t figure out how to use dishwasher or it was broken. Big crack on stovetop, which made me wonder how safe it was. I think it should be enclosed both bedrooms are upstairs, not ideal for a handicapped person. You could see the shower upstairs where the floor was reinforced so I wasn’t sure how safe that was. It was convenient to my family though.

I am sorry you had concerns about your safety. If you had contacted me, I could’ve helped you. You just have to hold the start button on the dishwasher. The button says to hold for five seconds, and some people just press start and it won’t start that way.The stove and bathroom are safe; people use it all the time without any issues. We do advertise that the house is 100 years old and the bedrooms are upstairs so it is not ideal for handicapped person. Most people with mobility issues request more information if they have any concerns that way they are sure. I am glad that you otherwise enjoyed stay.

We loved the house and decor! My kids really enjoyed the games. We also appreciated being able to bring our dog. Very quiet area. Great stay!
