Top of Hill City -walk to great food, local art & more!
Sweet little studio apartment at the top of Hill City. Attached to the host's business, an art studio/gallery & gift shop... so we are available to answer any questions or give local attraction suggestions during business hours most days. There are linens, dishes, pots and pans in the apartment and a gas BBQ grill on the patio. There is a TV with blu-ray player and available for streaming (but no cable or satellite), as well as some games and puzzles. Plenty of off-street parking. Walking distance to EVERYTHING Hill City has to offer. Dining, drinks, art galleries, gift shops as well as grocery, post office, laundromat, convenience store and more. The beautiful Black Hills are right here... Mt. Rushmore and Crazy Horse as well as hiking trails and lakes are just down the road. Keystone, Custer, Deadwood, Spearfish, Rapid City and Sturgis right in the neighborhood too.

This is our second time staying here and it was perfect again. The location is great and the place is clean and very nice. I would recommend this place.
Cute little place, clean, comfortable. Excellent kitchen area. The best part was the patio where we had coffee and breakfast every morning and friends over for drinks after seeing the sites. Loved it and would definitely stay again.
This funky little town is awesome!!! And this was a perfect place to stay for our time there!! JamesAnn was awesome and everything in the apartment was great!!! We highly recommend this location-everything you need!!!!
We really enjoyed the location as it was within walking distance to of all the places we like to eat and shop. It was spacious, had everything we needed (especially the delicious cookies) plus the outdoor seating area was great. The only complaint was that the bed was too soft for me but, the daybed was fine
Awesome location, right at the edge of town. All the tourist shops and restaurants just outside your door but yet in a reasonably quiet location. Keystone, Custer, Mount Rushmore and more are all just a short drive away. The apartment was very clean, well stocked, and worked out well for us. The outdoor patio area was perfect for morning coffee and a place to relax in the evenings. The host was very nice.
Clean, the beds were comfortable, the shower drained well and had plenty of hot water. The toilet flushed - what more could you ask for.
And the sitting area was a pleasant surprise. Great place for coffee in the morning. The pizza joint next door was close and the food was good, though a bit pricey
All in all this is a fantastic find!
The property was as shown in the pictures. It was plenty spacious for our family of four, which includes two teenage boys. It’s a perfect location to do everything in the Black Hills down to Hot Springs, South Dakota. And if you wanted to go north to Spearfish and Deadwood areas.
Thoroughly enjoyed our 5 day stay. Great location for exploring the Black Hills. Able to walk to restaurants and local shops. JamesAnn was very responsive to our questions. Beautiful shop next door.
