Brilliant Southside Home on 2 Acre Park + Pet Friendly
Enjoy the best of Southside restaurants and downtown attractions within walking distance from Chattanooga’s first LEED certified home. Sustainable + Efficient design across the street from park, playground & pavilion. Plentiful + free parking. Perfect for families vacationing, visiting relatives or participating in Ironman/Athletic competitions or work remotely with the fastest residential internet - The Gig!
Entrance to the home is through the front door equipped with door code lock. On street parking is free of charge. For parking, we ask our guests to not park in the driveway nor behind the home as it is a shared driveway. Please park either directly in front & along the chain link fence or across the street.
Behind the house there are train tracks. Trains come though night and day. The trains can sometimes be heard or sometimes they will clank together or squeak. To help with this, we have white noise machines beside all the beds, fans in front & back bedrooms and extra pillows. The sound machines work well and guests report they drown out any noises so you can sleep without interruption. There are two settings on the white noise machines (high and low). I have also provided complimentary single use ear plugs.

This home could not have been more perfect for our long weekend in Chattanooga. The kitchen and bedrooms had everything we could need for our kids, as well as the adults. It’s in the perfect location to explore the city, with a comfortable layout to watch football at the end of the day. The only thing we needed to bring was a baby gate for the steps. We hope to stay again soon!
Beautiful and spacious. Everything you need and more! Blackout shades and white noise machines already set up in all bedrooms was amazing! Best location close to so much and the park right out the front door with a playground was perfect for our 2 small children. Jenny was a great host!
Loved having an easy stay with a park across the street for our little one. Trips downtown were quick with barely any traffic.

Beautiful home conveniently located to everything. The park across the street makes for a nice place to walk off the great meals you can enjoy at the many great restaurants less than a mile away.
House is in a great location close to plenty of restaurants. Park across the street was nice for morning run. Quiet, clean neighborhood-house was fantastic. Jennie was thorough with info and was available throughout the stay for any questions.
This is such a beautiful house in a beautiful area! It’s is within walking distance of downtown and is perfect for walking to breweries. This area surrounding the house was well kept and family friendly area. If you are staying in Chattanooga this is the perfect place
In a part of town that is rebuilding. Lots of great properties. Convenient to downtown. Lots of great eats close by. Host was amazing! Quick responses and great suggestions. The accommodations worked perfectly for our stay. Couldn’t have been more pleased. The railroad is very close to the back of the house and very active but it did not disturb our sleep.
The home was beautiful and clean. The kids loved the playground and running around the park across from the home. We walked to get coffee and shopped at Poor Taste(very cute vintage shop). Jennie was very easy to communicate with. I could not locate a blender in the home and she had one delivered to the house the next day! Amazing host! Can’t wait to stay here again. We loved the neighborhood and vibe of the area. Very good restaurants. Southside Social was a hit with the fam.
Our stay was superb! The house is lovely! It’s beautifully decorated and extremely clean! The train didn’t bother any of us even without the ear plugs provided by the owner. The best part was the neighborhood and close proximity to all the fun things Chattanooga has to offer families. Southside has so much to offer regarding coffee, lunch, and dinner, and the neighborhood felt so safe. The only thing I wish I had known before hand was that there are two steps separating the kitchen from the den. Our toddler hasn’t quite mastered stairs, so that was a bit of a struggle. The owner was one of the most responsive host with whom we have ever experienced! We had a need one evening and the product was on the porch when we woke up! If back in Chattanooga, we would definitely come back here!
One of the best properties we have stayed at everGreat central location. Walkable to restaurants and breweriesOpen floor plan with three nice sized bedrooms. Great kitchen for cooking or just entertaining for a bit. House was clean and well equipped Host is outstanding. She goes out of her way to ensure your comfort and safety needs are exceeded
Jennie was an outstanding host. She puts her vacationer's needs first with suggestions and assistance. The home is wonderful and an easy uber ride to downtown and the riverfront.
We absolutely loved our stay! Yes, we heard the trains at night, but with the sound machines and fans… they didn’t bother us at all. Jennie made so many wonderful recommendations for food and things to do.l tailored to our crew. She was so helpful! We would definitely stay again if we were in the area!
The listing is accurate. The train is close. If you are a light sleeper or uncomfortable using earplugs, the train may be an issue. Distance to downtown was great. Excellent accommodations- clean and well stocked.
This place was awesome! Beds were comfortable, kitchen was very well stocked, in a very safe and cute neighborhood, may access to downtown Chatt and all the activities we needed to do ... highly recommend this place to stay!
Very convenient to Lookout Mtn. activities and downtown. Very clean and spacious. Only real concern was lack of any shower bars in master since we are elderly. Granddaughters loved the bunks and the low basketball goal as well as park. Trains run all night and we were not bothered but back bedroom was. Jennie was a great host. Very responsive and helpful.
This home was modern, cozy and super clean. Beds were very comfy. In a great neighborhood that is very walkable. The host was so friendly and easy to contact. Great house.
The property was wonderfully clean, well apportioned, and though driving to it felt like we were passing through a sketchy neighborhood, we actually found it to be quiet welcoming and felt safe with parking our vehicle behind the property. The owner warned about train noise, but also supplied noise reduction items. The trains ran constantly it seemed, but were surprisingly quiet within the property. The park was small but the dogs loved walking around it, and if you don’t mind some mileage, you could walk to food in the city pretty easily. The owner was very responsive. We would definitely stay here again.
