Great cabin with all the amenities and not too far from town and an easy drive to get there. The grill was clean and the propane tank was full, so we were able to grill up burgers when we got in. Overall, a great place to stay.
We had a wonderful week driving around and hiking the area. The cabin was prefect place to stay and is so close to so many wonderful things to see. We enjoyed coming back in the evening to relax by a fire and get a great night sleep. We will be back again to stay here.
This cabin was indeed serene and provided us all with a most enjoyable stay. The cabin is well maintained and stocked and is in a beautiful location. Great communication with the hosts and easy check in process. We look forward to returning for another stay,.
We went on a ski trip to Stowe Vermont, and needed a place to stay that would also be good for our pets. The cabin was clean, everything was in good working order, the driveway was plowed, and the internet was fast enough for us to run all of our devices and also work remotely while on vacation. The location is about 30 minutes from Stowe mountain resort, and about 50 minutes from Jay Peak. Grocery stores and and bars/restaurants in Morrisville are only 5-10 minutes away, making this the perfect home base for your ski trip. I will be booking again for sure.
My husband and I live in Vermont but wanted to "get away" for two days to unwind and relax. We loved our stay! We made a campfire and enjoyed the quiet surroundings. A+ experience.
Perfect! Close enough to get to so many fun places and far enough away to come back and relax. The cabin was immaculate! It was nicer than the pictures and had everything we needed. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back.
Lovely cabin in a very quiet area. The beds (including the Futon bed) were very comfortable.
We were a family with 2 teenagers and we had enough space for the 4 of us. We enjoyed skiing at Stowe (~35 min drive) and having dinner at the cabin. It snowed a bit during our stay and the host had all it cleaned.
We had all we needed for a great stay!
Half hour drive to Smuggs. Stowe isn’t much further. Cabin abuts one other cabin, we had neighbors
This was a lovely spot to relax for a few days. The radiant floor heat was awesome. Your feet will never be cold. Everything was new and clean. We were incredibly impressed with the owner/ caretaker and their attention to the little things like showing up to shovel after an overnight sleet storm. All around a five
Came up for a two day ski trip. Was only 30mins from Stowe. It was an amazing little cabin. Easy to get to. Had plenty of blankets and pillows. Was truly the perfect place to stay for skiing.
Great place to stay away from the crowds but close to Stowe. Clean, comfortable cabin in a peaceful country setting. The owners definitely put all the comforts of home into their cabins. We stayed in Cabin # 6 which was perfect, only shared the drive with 1 other cabin so extremely private.
We will absolutely stay again.
This cabin was quiet, clean and had everything I needed. It was remote but just a few minutes from tons of attractions and things to do. Would love to come back next year

About the host
Hosted by Jennifer Fowler
Hi. We are Craig and Jennifer Fowler. We both grew up and raised our family right here in Lamoille County. We love to work on our 12 acre wooded land as well as hike, kayak, fish and snowshoe.
Why they chose this property
Our property is centrally located in Vermont and basically within an hour of just about everything. There are three ski resorts within 20, 30 and 40 minutes from us. We are 5 miles from Green River Reservoir, minutes from different long trail heads and there are 5 breweries within a 15 mile radius.
What makes this property unique
We are located on a country road in the woods, but only 3 miles from restaurants, breweries and local shopping centers. You will love looking out the large windows or being outside enjoying the campfire or the singing of the birds.
