CHRISTMAS IN THE MOUNTAINS

My family spent Christmas weekend there. It is very nice, clean and fully stocked in the kitchen. We could have used more bath towels.

Spacious and comfy

Despite the rain all weekend and not using the lake as much as we wanted, we loved spending time together in this home! Lots of gathering space, and also space to retreat to. Comfy beds and furniture! The yard and wooded area leading to the lake was a hit with the kids!

Beautiful house

The house itself is lovely, and location is good if you want to be close to lake and to amenities. It's a relatively new development, so properties are right beside each other. Only issue was limited hot water for showers.

Great Week With The Family

We had a party of 9 people (3 families) and this place has a great layout with a main bedroom with king bed on each of the 3 levels so everyone had comfortable space. The path from the house to the boat dock is rather steep but was still manageable for everyone. We have already booked this house for next year.

The house was well equipped and comfortable. The only problem was the hot tub was broken, there was a note from 1/23 that said chemicals were added but the hot tub would not heat up. We reached out to Taylor made during our stay and said they would attempt to send a technician out and get it repaired during our stay but did not.

Could have been cleaner

Extremely disappointed with the condition of the house cleaning wise. Floors were dirty and sticky and had pistachio shells on it. Obviously wasn’t even swept. The light fixture above the kitchen table has about 100 bugs in it and light bulbs burnt out. Didn’t even go on patio because all the furniture was in disarray and it hasn’t been swept out there in forever. Even the screened in porch had a ton of leaves all over. The place smells really musty and needs a good cleaning. Will never stay at this residence again because of the condition upon arrival.
