Made a work trip feel like a mini vacation!

Beautiful apartment and property. Good location, for me everything I needed was with 15 minutes. Short drive to Helen too. I would definitely stay here again if traveling back to the area for work or for fun. Debbie and Bob are great hosts!

Wedding weekend.

Our stay was absolutely perfect. The loft/cabin was in an ideal location to our sons wedding venue. It was always great to know we had a nice place to come and unwind after a busy day. I would 100% recommend this property.

We had a wonderful stay at this property with our family of four and dog. Our boys (7 and 10) slept on the sleeper sofa at night while we had the king sized bed and separate bedroom. It was PERFECT for a quiet weekend getaway to relax and reconnect as a family before the busy-ness of the fall school season kicks back up. They have two hammocks to swing and relax under shady trees, a beautiful creek with cool clear water that the boys enjoyed playing in, a fire pit for some evening time together, a porch with ceiling fans, a gorgeous garden area where Debbie and Bob shared freshly picked yellow squash and basil, a hot tub, and so much shady space for the family and dog to run around safely. The kitchen had all the modest supplies we needed for cooking family meals (including a few extra spices and ingredients in the cabinet and some condiments in the fridge!), and everything was very clean and comfortable. The hosts couldn’t be sweeter and even brought out corn hole boards for us. The room had a notebook full of recent gushing reviews of these hosts, so it’s wonderful to see our experience was not unique. We would love to return together another time!

Lovely, comfortable loft

We (myself, husband, and our pup) stayed in the loft for almost a week. We appreciated the quiet country setting and the excellent condition of everything in the home. We felt very comfortable and safe. Debbie and Bob were very thoughtful hosts. There were snacks and a pitcher of cold water available when we arrived, and they provided us with a basket of produce from their garden. We really enjoyed our time at their loft.

Perfect get away!

Such a wonderful little guest house off the beaten path. It was my favorite thing to come home to, central to hiking, Oktoberfest in Helen, … and homey, well decorated and peaceful. Just what the doctor ordered! Loved it and definitely plan to return! Thanks for the welcome and for allowing us to include our little dog! He loved it too!

Perfect kitchen!

We add a wedding nearby that I had to prepare brunch for the bridal party. The kitchen was perfect for pre prepping. We returned to the power being out because of a bad storm but they were quick to check on us and provide us with a flashlight. Thanks!

This small loft was quaint and perfect for a couple. The linens and space was clean, the weather wasn't nice enough for us to try out the hot tub but we enjoyed the upstairs feel and were able to have the privacy we needed for a restful weekend. The space says "loft" which it is, but it is not above the actual house. No one lives below, it appeared to be a storage space for their yard and garden area. It is private if needed! There were plenty of appliances and materials to cook, all labelled throughout the kitchen, and items were easy to find when needed. Would recommend for any couple with a child (they would sleep on sofa bed). But had a nice area for breakfast to eat and spacious area! We enjoyed our stay!

The hosts live next door to the property. They were both friendly and accommodating, but still respected our privacy. The property is very serene with a babbling brook at the edge. My son enjoyed wading and fishing in it. We also enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub after a day of hiking. It is close to the surrounding mountain towns making it easy to visit them all and experience different things. We had an amazing trip.

Deborah and Bob are very sweet and thoughtful. They welcomed us and made sure we had everything we needed. The home was clean, very organized, and beautiful. Close to shops and restaurants, but far enough away to forget they exist for the moment. We had a great stay!
