What an amazing property! The cabin was tidy and well stocked with kitchen supplies. Five of us were very comfortable sleeping and using this for home base. The river access here cannot be beat. Wish we would have had more time to enjoy it. Host was easily accessible and gracious. Book without worry. Great property!

Wow, what an amazing beautiful perfectly equipped and located holiday home that not only exceeded all expectations but kept on giving. We shall be returning.
Spotlessly clean, fabulous host.
We wished we had booked and stayed longer
The unit was very clean, spacious, nicely-decorated and well-equipped for our trip. The kitchen had all the appliances and utensils needed. The grill was easy to use and the surrounding area was very quiet/peaceful. It's located a short drive away from downtown Helen which was a plus!*NOTE: I wish Jeff had warned that the road leading to the cabin is tricky to maneuver (if you DON'T have a truck/SUV- due to the steep INCLINE made entirely of clay and gravel). We almost got stuck due to days of rain leaving that inclined, unpaved road extremely UNSTABLE, HILLY and UNEVEN! We didn't dare drive until days later after a man with a bulldozer arrived to pack down/smooth over the incline and apply more gravel (when the rain finally stopped). Lastly, the river is NOT a short (5 mins walking -according to Jeff) distance away from the cabin and is on an EXTREMELY STEEP, WINDING INCLINE. Although it is paved, I wouldn't dare drive down to the bottom and risk getting stuck as it is unpaved at the end. Make sure you wear shoes with good grip and are in good physical shape, because that "5 minute" walk may land you in the ER.

Thank you for your detailed review and for the kind words about the cleanliness, décor, amenities, and peaceful setting of the cabin. I am glad you enjoyed your stay and our location near Helen.
I also appreciate your feedback regarding the road conditions. The cabin is located in the North Georgia mountains on a private road, and the unusually heavy rainfall during your stay created conditions that were not typical. As soon as I became aware of the issue, I arranged for the road to be graded and additional gravel to be added to improve access.
Regarding the river, I want to clarify for future guests that the listing states the river is approximately 400 feet from the cabin. The walk does involve a change in elevation, which is common for mountain and riverfront properties in this area. While many guests enjoy the short walk to the river, I understand that guests may experience the terrain differently depending on mobility, fitness level, weather conditions, and personal comfort with hills. Guests also have the option to drive to the river using the paved drive that leads down to it.
Thank you again for staying at the cabin and for taking the time to share your experience. I appreciate your feedback and am glad you enjoyed the cabin itself, the peaceful setting, and the proximity to Helen.
Our stay at the cabin was great! Just as described. Comfortable rooms. Well stocked. New finishes. Very clean. How nice that they don't give you a lot of strict checkout instructions! Just able to pack up and go! The weather was not good, so we didn't make it down to the river, but if we get the chance to come back, we definitely will! Host communication was great.
Jeff was so very helpful! When we walked through n and had trouble with working the air conditioning he was there in less than 5 minutes to take care of us. Beautiful property!!
This stay was wonderful here. The lower level is so comfortable and has all you need. It’s in a quiet and beautiful location. The host is very responsive and does a great job with the place!
