This was a wonderful spot to stay
With my college age children to celebrate my sons birthday and enjoy the hot air balloon festival. Winthrop and Twisp are always some of our favorite places to visit and this cabin was a great retreat!
We used this as a launching point to explore the North Cascades area. Great location, and I was pleasantly surprised by how much there was in Twisp itself. The house was roomy enough for three of us to comfortably spread out, and the kitchen stocked well for all basic cooking. The only thing that could have made it better is a window air conditioner, but there were plenty of fans to make it comfortable during a few very warm summer days. Would stay here again if in the area for sure.
This is a lovely house ! The outside is a bit dull, but the inside is full of surprises. It has been modernized without losing it's charm and character. Fresh paint, hardwood floors, new windows and blinds, new tiling in bathroom etc.
Very clean, very comfortable and very spacious.
As a summer renter, I would have liked an outdoor area to sit. A small deck and a couple of chairs for morning coffee and evening drinks - just a suggestion !
The guys didn't like that there wasn't a television

Twisp House
I was so frustrated the whole time. We could not get the wi-fi to hook up. We had work things to get done but couldn't. We couldn't get ahold of the host or vrbo because we couldn't hook up to wi-fi. Then realized that I didn't book enough nights and needed to see if we could extend one more night. Again, couldn't communicate with anyone. Stressing out needing to find another place for us to sleep so we weren't sleeping in our cars, on a very busy weekend for the area. Luckily through some hard praying, my prayers were answered and I was able to find a place to stay for the night. The house was good. It was clean and well stocked. It was on the warmer side with the temps being in the high 90's and no AC. I just brought in a lot of fans to use along with what was already there. Lesson learned...Next time I will make sure to get an actual phone number to communicate.
