Welcome to Water's Edge!

Water's Edge is a 6 BR/5 BA 2 level home that is directly on the beach. It is appointed with high end furnishings and finishes. This spacious 3400+ sq ft home features travertine tile in all common areas and bathrooms as well as natural stone tile in all showers. The living areas and bedrooms are enhanced by natural light that filters in from all sides through Anderson windows and doors. The open floor plan combines the living and dining areas with the well-appointed kitchen, making family gatherings comfortable and cozy. The kitchen is fully equipped granite counter tops, hardwood cabinets, an ice machine, plus extra drink refrigerator. The adjacent dining room seats 8 and the nearby bar seats 4.

The beach side master bedroom suite on the second floor has a direct gulf view, a 28' beach front deck, a sitting area, a king sized bed and a full private bath featuring a jetted tub, a separate shower with dual shower heads, double sinks and a walk-in closet. The second master on the first floor has a beautiful lagoon view, a king sized bed, a full private bath featuring a jetted tub, a separate shower, double sinks and a walk-in closet. The other 4 bedrooms include a king bed, two queen beds, and a bunk room with 4 bunk beds. Five of the six bedrooms have decks which are perfect for enjoying the gorgeous sunrises and sunsets! All bedrooms have 32'-42' plasma or LCD TVs. All of the bathrooms have natural soapstone counter tops and the bedrooms are equipped with ceiling fans.

The ground level entry and foyer provides easy access to the upper levels as well as the beach. The central focus of the 1st floor is the large living room which features a large gulf front deck, a 70LCD HDTV, two full couches, two arm chairs for your viewing comfort. In the living room your hosts provide a Hi-Fi home theater system through which you can integrated your iPod or play your CDs. The home is also equipped with an elevator, a laundry facility, outdoor grill, seating area an outdoor shower and Wi-Fi.

This is a non-smoking home that will comfortable occupy 16 guests. We rent to student groups and wedding parties only after approval by owner.

Water's Edge is located approximately 2.5 miles west of Hwy 59. We feature a state of the art keyless entry system that eliminates the need to pick up and return keys - a unique code will be generated for your visit and emailed or faxed to you after full payment is made.

Property was very nice, clean, on the beach, and had beautiful views. Unfortunately, there was extremely loud construction next door from 7 AM to around 5 PM every day of our stay. This woke everyone in the house and made it difficult to site on the deck. Had we been made aware in advance, we likely would’ve looked elsewhere.

This was a family event and everyone enjoyed the stay. All aspects of the Beach house was easy from initial entry to closing out. The bedrooms, kitchen and common areas were well done and very nice. We had Thanksgiving there and were pleasantly surprised the kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed to prepare and cook our specialties. Being located on the beach was nice and it was a short walk to the water. Thank goodness for the lift as it is definitely needed. We enjoyed the stay and would recommend the House on the Beach.

This was truly the best place we have ever stayed !!! The walk to the beach was very short and perfect, plenty of space for everyone, kitchen was really stocked with any gadget, dish, or pot/pans you need, and lots of extras like books to read, games, extra pillows in bedrooms, an electric blanket, beach chairs and toys, and lots of baby items like a high chair and pack n play. So much thought of the owners for the things guest might need ! And… the elevator was a game changer for sending up luggage and groceries!!! We will definitely book again !!! Thank you for an amazing week !!!

We had our family and friends with us, total 14 people. The house to the right of us was doing construction the entire time, jack hammer hamming and a construction crew that was loud and went from 7 am to 5 pm every day we were there. I kindly said something to the GM, nothing was done. I reached out to the host of the house, Stephanie and she did say she reached out the company who owned the property. Nothing was done. It’s really hard to relax when you have construction going on on top of you, can’t sit on any porch to relax, walk down to the beach, same thing, you can hear the construction. Spent a lot of money to listen to that and nothing be done about it. I appreciate the ownership trying, but it ruined our vacation. Master toilet broken Stairs to bunk beds was glued and not fixed, broke with my kids trying to walk down.

Our stay here was phenomanal ! We had plenty of room for everyone. The view was spectacular and beach acess was great. We called Ikes chair rental & they provided beach chairs & umbrellas the whole time we were there. We would stay here again ! Stephanie was a great communicator! Things we did buy that we didnt have there were beach towels which we didnt mind doing.

We loved the location and the house - beautiful beach and view with a perfect porch for my mom, elevator for senior ease of access, and close to all of our favorite seafood restaurants. The house fits our family beautifully, and the kitchen is well stocked. The only issue was a washer/dryer which needs work/replacement - but I think they have these on order. This is our third year, and we plan on coming back :)

This house is an absolutely beautiful home right on the beach! It was perfect for our family vacation. Multiple families fit nicely with plenty of space, kitchen is well stocked, and plenty of parking. The beach chairs and toys were a great plus! I would highly recommend this home and we will be back again!

We purchased this home as a second home to enjoy with family and friends when not being enjoyed by those seeking the ultimate beach experience. We now live in Atlanta but grew up on the Gulf Coast and always dreamed of finding a perfect place on the water. We found it!

Why they chose this property

Gulf Shores, Alabama beaches are the most beautiful beaches on the panhandle because they not only offer wide white sandy beaches and clear water but also because they are not completely overrun and over-developed. Also, the charter fishing out of both Gulf Shores and Orange Beach is world class and you can expect to go out on a charter once and have enough fish for your entire family for the whole week of your visit.

What makes this property unique

This property is located on the beach yet Little Lagoon is just a short walk away and is a great place to enjoy water sports or just relax on a kayak. If the tide is right, smaller boats can launch in the lagoon and in a matter of minutes be in the gulf.
