Had a great time here. Loved that we could take our dogs along. Nice and close to Beech Mountain. Warm and cozy unit.

Great place a few issues

This is a great place for smaller people. The place is nice, great area… but you literally hear everyone walking around, whether it’s inside outside in your place or others. The floor creeks a lot. The bathroom in the main bedroom is TINY but function-able. My husband is 6’1 and knees touched the wall. Both teens with us are 6ft so the couch and chair in the living room were pretty small for them. I am 5’6 so I was good. lol the beds are super soft so when you move your roll the other person to the middle! Lmao it was interesting. I promise I slept great in it, but my husband did not. The people communicating with us were great. The washer and dryer are good, loud so run it while you are out. They pretty much have every utensil and cookware you’ll need. If you like a travel mug bring it with you. I would probably not stay here again with the kids just cus they are giant but would with some girl friends since we are all shortys. :)

MLK weekend

Property was perfect for a long weekend if you don’t plan on cooking. Counter space is very limited and there was only one kitchen knife (very dull). Enjoyed the openness of the floor plan and the heaters kept a toasty warm, sad there was a faux fireplace. I will say there was only 1 hand soap that was almost gone and our family was not expecting that we needed to bring hand soap. I would have appreciated a small vacuum to help tidy up, instead of just a broom. Unfortunately the washer was out of order due to a sheet stuck in the agitator. I am glad that it only snowed a little before we got out, since there were no shovels or provisions for the stairs if there was ice. I would also suggest that you let people know that the parking spot goes directly into the staircase and an oversized suv will have difficulty fitting and our XL was a little in the street. I couldn’t find a wine opener anywhere and did have to knock on a neighbor’s door to borrow one. Overall it was close to the beech mountain and easy enough to get to the ski parking lot, I also enjoyed the view of deer and the woods around. We love Beech mountain.
