Enjoy a mountain getaway at the Alpenhaus! Our 2BR2/2BTH creek-side cabin is located just minutes away from Pigeon Forge, has a private hot tub and is decorated for Christmas. It's a log cabin with a rustic yet modern atmosphere so you will know you are on a mountain getaway but feel assured things are clean and new. New mattresses and bedding October 2022. Guests enjoy the location of our cabin with easy access to touristy fun as well as nature-y goodness.

This is a stand alone log cabin you will have all to yourself including the large front porch with bench swing and two rocking chairs; there is also a private back deck with your own hot tub and a couple of chairs in case you get too steamy and need a breather

Other things to note:
Parking is super easy, you park right in front of the cabin!

The location is very convenient for getting to downtown Pigeon Forge or the Wears Valley entrance of the National Park. Spend your time exploring, not driving!

Please bring your own shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and coffee pods.

Peaceful Get Away

Overall this property was great. Centrally located between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Had some minor technical issues but the property owner addressed and fixed in a timely fashion. We enjoyed the hot tub every night after a full day of activity. Beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed the game room. Thanks for a very restful vacation.

Nice Cabin

My family & I stayed in this cabin and loved it! Its location is pefect - just far away from the 'action" to be relaxing but close enough to do different activities. Cabin was clean & we had no issues. Beware - our phones could only make emergency calls (Verizon). We could send/receive texts with no issies. And hooked up to the wifi there was enough signal strength to do online activities. My son loved "his" upstairs area. He had his own bedroom, bathroom, & arcade game to keep him occupied.

Could Be Better…

I hardly ever leaves reviews, but this place has several things that just made the stay inconvenient and less enjoyable. - There literally two rolls of toilet paper in the whole cabin. We had to go buy more. - The light bulb to the back porch where the jacuzzi was didn’t work. And there were no extra light bulbs anywhere. - The TV in the main living area didn’t work properly. - Lastly, I understand that given the location that insects and dust is inevitable, but this just seemed neglected in certain areas. This cabin has the potential to be amazing, but for us it just didn’t meet our not so unreasonable expectations.

Rustic Getaway

When we first arrived, we had difficulty checking in. The battery was low on the door lock and it took several attempts to get in. This left us worried about whether we were going to get locked out of the cabin. We weren't able to reach the owner until the next day. We were then informed of a hidden spare key. The internet wasn't working the first day either. We were unable to use our phones at all for the entire first day and had to go down into pigeon forge to have any outside communinication at all. The keurig coffee machine never worked properly at all and we went in town to Starbucks for our coffee. Beds were nice and firm but very squeaky. The pillows were flat. No extra trash bags to clean up with. Hot tub was wonderful. View was beautiful. We did end up staying an extra night.

Our Alpenhaus cabin has everything you need for a great trip to the Smoky Mountains! Comfortable beds, an open floor plan so you can be together while you cook or relax in the living room, and our favorite part is the private hot tub overlooking a small creek and plenty of trees.

The location of this property is really convenient to get to the Wears Valley entrance of Smoky Mountain National Park and to all the great shops, restaurants and attractions in downtown Pigeon Forge.
