The cabin is spacious and well furnished. It was very clean. The bed was comfortable. The porch is large and offers great Mountain View’s. The only negative is the driveway - it is very rough and steep.

Great place to base our Cataloochee side of the park trip. Cathedral ceilings make the cabin feel enormous. Very clean and well stocked with the necessities for a comfortable stay. The huge wrap around porch is fantastic for start of the day planning and end of the day reflection. Firepit area made for very pleasant evenings . We heartly recommend

The Lazy Moose Cabin was the ideal place for us. The furnishings were exceptional! The fireplace was a nice element of coziness. Easy to use and the whole place had a homey feel. There wasn't anything I would have wanted to change. Thanks for sharing your cabin with us. We definitely will be back.

Trees much taller now so no view. Driveway very precarious our suv had lots of slip and slide. House beautiful with every amenity needed.

We always recommend an AWD vehicle (if possible) due to the gravel roads in the neighborhood. We contracted someone to cut the trees to clear up the view. Thank you for staying with Carolina Mountain Vacation Homes!

The cabin had everything you needed. The porch was great for evening relaxing and playing games. Only suggestion for pet owners, bring a doggie gate for main steps onto the porch. Will come and stay again.

Beautiful cozy cabin!!!..everything you need is there, from linens to a fully stocked kitchen. Plenty of firewood for the private fenced in fire pit area. Beautiful wrap around porch..very private, we didn’t see another person unril the last day. Driveway is pretty steep, it took us 3 x to get up there...definitely going back!Just book it, you won't be disappointed!
