We absolutely love our visit to Florida. The house was very nice & had plenty of room for our family of 7 adults, 1 baby & our pup Greyson. We took advantage spending time at beach which was a short walk but we rented a golf cart which was a fun experience for my family. The outdoor space was great for us & our sweet pup. Thank you for sharing your beach home with us.

Water pressure is very low, owner of the they don't accept this issue at all. I saw bug in the living room. Home is old and home needs renovation, for pricewise it is too expensive.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that this stay did not meet your expectations. The home is a well-maintained coastal property. While it is not a new construction, it is professionally cleaned and regularly maintained between every stay. Regarding the water pressure, we took the concern seriously and had our handyman check the system promptly during the stay. He confirmed — and shared video documentation — that the water pressure was functioning normally and was consistent with what is typical for older homes in this area. As for insects, occasional bugs can appear in Florida coastal environments despite routine profesional pest control, which we have in place We appreciate all feedback and remain committed to providing a comfortable stay.

Manage Your Expectations

Good: The house is near public beach access, within walking distance. There is easy access to the main road. The neighborhood was quiet with very little vehicle traffic, making it safe to walk. The beds were comfortable and the house was clean. Bad: Upon our arrival, we found that there were no washcloths in any of the bathrooms. After searching and not finding any, I reached out to the host. Her response was, “Hello Elizabeth! Good morning, we don’t provide wash clothes, I understand if this is important to you so I’m trying to send you a pack of washcloths but the sooner I can get them for you would be tomorrow, please feel free to buy some for your stay and send me the ticket, I’ll be happy to pay it for so you can have a comfortable stay ;)” It may just be me (it’s not), but washcloths are BASIC linens. Even Motel 6 and Super 8 provide washcloths. To her credit, she did reimburse us for the cost of the washcloths. The furniture in the main living/gathering area sits very low to the ground, making it very difficult to stand up from. It was also very uncomfortable once seated. The most comfortable seating was a sofa located in the Florida room/enclosed patio. Unfortunately, the A/C unit in the wall did not work (outside temps were in the mid-to-high 90s, sooooo, there’s that). For the money it cost us to rent this place, the overall experience was disappointing. We will not book this rental again.
