We had a great time the cabin is a wonderful escape and its location is perfect for day trips to Cherokee, Blue Ridge Ga or Tennessee attractions. There are so many hiking areas and other activities. We will definitely rent this one again.

Cabin Fever
Great location with lots to do nearby. Kitchen was well stock for cooking, New BBQ grill and appliances throughout. Great place to hangout and relax.
Our Family of 3 stayed here for thanksgiving weekend. Very secluded and quiet location, just what we were looking for a weekend getaway . The house was very cozy, clean, and well stocked. We enjoyed nearby fishing and reading and relaxing by the fireplace. Thanks!
This was our 2nd visit and we already know we will be back. Just a very comfortable place in the middle of peace and tranquility. We enjoy the amenities that are available and there is hiking accessible close by without even getting in a car. We tank the owners for their use of this place
My wife and I stayed for our 3rd time during the 1st week of October. It was fortunate that the place was still there after Hurricane Helene caused so much devastation so near by. The home has everything you would want to enjoy time with your significant other and relax in the comfort of the beauty and serenity that the North Carolina mountains offers you. We thank our hosts Debbie and Dave for the use of their home and I am sure we will be back again.
We had a great time. The cabin was spacious with lots of outdoor space. The stream was wonderful and we could hear it the entire time. In fact all we really heard was the stream, the animals, birds, and insects outside, the rain (our last night), and the wind. It was incredibly quiet even with another cabin visible down the hill. We heard maybe five vehicles drive by on Saturday to the trailhead.
Hiking nearby. The lake was beautiful and a great place to rent a kayak. The kitchen had everything we needed. Our pup, Lily, loved it, too. She was able to move between the two decks, played in the stream, and took some long naps after her hikes.
Thanks for a wonderfully relaxing and quiet weekend of nature, reading, conversation, and calm.
The cabin was VERY well equipped, clean, and so comfortable! We stayed there for a short weekend and are already planning to come back next year. We will be renting this cabin again, but for a week next time. The owners were so helpful with recommendations and advice. Everything was easy to use. Kitchen was fully stocked. Plenty of towels, sheets, comfy blankets… the porch and deck were so comfortable and relaxing. The hot tub was great. The exit instructions were super easy and clear to follow. Checking in was too. We had a total blast! I highly recommend this cabin!
The two of us loved this cabin. It has two nice sized bedrooms and bathrooms. Perfect for two couples to stay here. Three great flat screen tv’s, as well. The main living room, dining and kitchen open concept area was very nice with comfortable furniture. We stayed here early December and the cabin was wonderfully decorated for Christmas making it very cozy with a nice gas fireplace adding to the cabin atmosphere. A good sized Christmas tree set up in the living room was just perfect. Their hot tub was clean and ready for us upon arrival. It held its temperature well even in the cold weather we had during our stay. The cabin was very clean and had any and all supplies you may need for your stay. The owners were also great to work with. We would definitely stay here again.
The cabin is so nice and cozy. Very open with a good amount of space. My wife and i and our 2 dogs were very comfy, we could have invited a couple friends or family members and still have been comfortable. I am a larger man and their rocking chairs on the porch were comfortable and sturdy. It is so peaceful with a small stream running down right beside the cabin. There was plenty of wood ready for fires. My dogs loved playing in all the open space on the lower deck and around the campfire area. The kitchen was stocked with all the dishes an utensils we could need and the grill worked so well. The hot tub made for a wonderful and relaxing end to the day. Cabin Fever made for a wonderful and relaxing getaway that I will definitely be returning to. I can't wait to fish for some walleye, bass, and salmon in the lake next time I come.out. The hosts were fantastic and responsive too! Thank you for our wonderful stay!
We enjoyed the quiet atmosphere. We had coffee on the porch with the sound of the small waterfall in the background. Enjoyed the location and amenities
Perfect Cabin experience. Cabin was clean, cozy, and well equipped. Location is very good for enjoying mountain excursions. We returned each evening to the warm glow of the cute cabin with all the comforts of home.
Very secluded, and makes you feel like you are in a treehouse. Owners are very nice to deal with would recommend. Great hiking opportunities all around cabin.
This place is very cute and clean. Enjoyed our stay once we found the place. The cottage was very remote for sure but it was very pleasant once there. We did not have internet connectivity or cell phone capability, but the host provides a landline which proved to be helpful to reach family and let them know we made it! This is a very nice, quiet, place to stay to just relax and get away. The hosts covered all the necessary needs to feel at home, even down to extra blankets, and the comfort level is great! Beautiful drive coming and going to this charming cabin. We would stay here again and give it a 5 star rating. Thanks for the pleasant stay!
The location was perfect for us. It was so relaxing to sit on the deck and listen to the stream beside the cabin. Because of the location, it felt like we were in a tree-house. The cabin was beautiful, comfortable and very well maintained. We were close to the lake and the views around the lake were gorgeous. We will definitely book this cabin again. Thank you for sharing this home with us.
This cozy cabin had everything we needed and then some! Great location for a remote mountain getaway that is close to whitewater rafting, kayaking, and waterfall sightseeing!
Clean and tidy. Very isolated cabin with access to trails. Exactly what we and the dog wanted! Stayed for 6 nights and ate out 2x and went food shopping x1. Didn’t need to go anywhere else, hiked from the cabin! Hot tub clean and great location. This is great for 2 people and a dog, we really had a great time and Debbie was very accommodating with our late booking!
I loved listening to the stream and enjoying the hot tub that was great, just next to the stream. Amazing view. Great stocked kitchen.
I loved not having cell phone service so I really could disconnect from things, the whole reason I went.
My wife and I were looking for a quiet, comfortable and private place to spend some time on our return trip to Ft. Myers Florida right after it had been hit by a devastating hurricane. This home was everything that we needed to get the realities of what we were heading into out of our mind for just a short time. We spent nearly all of our time outside enjoying the large outdoor decks, the fire pit and the hot tub everyday of our stay. We thank the Dave and Debbie for the use of their place as well as they hospitality and responsiveness whenever we had a question. It will be on return list for VRBO properties, and we will be rebooking for next year.
