Welcome to Hidden Haven!
• Private 2 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom mountain townhome in Banner Elk, NC
• Brand new renovation with stunning mountain views
• Perfect location - secluded but minutes from Sugar Mountain, Seven Devils and Downtown Banner Elk

The Space

• Well stocked kitchen with all essentials and appliances (full size refrigerator, gas range, microwave, toaster, and washer/dryer, pots & pans, Keurig coffee maker)
• Propane fire place in the living room
• One king bedroom with attached private balcony, one queen bedroom
• Back porch with mountain views
• High-speed WiFi
• Smart Roku TVs in the living room and every bedroom.
• Pack ‘n’ play available if desired.
• We supply bed linens & bath towels
• We also provide enough hand soap, dish soap, toilet paper, paper towels, & trash bags to get you started upon arrival. However, if you are staying with a larger group or for a longer time, please plan to supplement with your own supplies based on your personal needs.
• Air conditioning is not needed in Banner Elk for the majority of the year. However, there will be 2 bedrooms with access to a portable air conditioning unit. There are also ceiling fans & box fans in every bedroom.

Pet Policy
• Please message us for pet approval prior to booking.
• If possible, please add pets to your reservation during the booking process. Once added, the $100 pet fee is included as part of the nightly rate (spread out equally over the course of the stay) and in the total price at checkout.
• Pet fee is non-refundable and is a flat rate for the stay.
• Limit is 2 dogs; no other animals permitted.
• Must pick up all droppings from pet(s).
• Dogs must be fully housebroken.
• Dogs are not permitted on furniture or linens

House Rules
• NO SMOKING. If anything is smoked inside, you will incur a $200 fee for deodorization treatment.
• Do NOT leave any food outside the building. All trash MUST be placed inside the trash cans that are located inside the bear cages. If food or trash is left outside the bear cages, it WILL attract bears to the property.
• Check-in time is 4:00PM and check out by 10:00AM. Early check ins and late check outs are not available due to our cleaning protocols. No parking on premises before check in time or after check out time. Unapproved late check outs may result in a $200 fee.
• All visitors must be approved by host.
• Be respectful of our neighbors by keeping noise volumes low.I
• In order to avoid potential staining, please do NOT use bleach to clean anything during your stay. We have professional cleaners who will use bleach appropriately in between guests to ensure a high standard of cleanliness.
• Do not burn incense, essential oils, or similar items. These scents are difficult to remove before the next guest checks in, and some guests may have sensitivity to smells.
• Guest must sign rental agreement.

• A car is essential to make the most of your stay in Banner Elk
• We provide parking for 2 vehicles on site
• 4 wheel drive is required to access the property, especially during snowy conditions. It is your responsibility to prepare for winter weather, and we do not issue refunds due to snow/ice.

Nice townhouse with views of Grandfather Mountain with nice restaurants and fully stocked grocery store very nearby. Great location center ally located close to Banner Elk, 20 minute drive to Boone, 25 minute drive to Blowing Rock.

Mountain Retreat

Our trip was amazing and Joe & Michelle's cozy townhome was the perfect spot. We were close to restaurants, grocery stores, and the shuttles we needed for the Grandfather Mountain Highland Games. Our favorite eating spot was Banner Elk Lodge, with so many menus! We would highly recommend this VRBO for your mountain escapes.

Perfect Getaway for 2

My husband and I THOROUGHLY enjoyed our stay. From the cleanliness of the accommodations to the proximity to the places that were on our list to visit, we couldn’t be any happier with the place to stay. We brought along our furry friend and she loved her stay as well. Communication with the host was effortless and any minor issues we had were resolved in a timely manner. We couldn’t have had a better experience with this place. We can’t wait to return.

Great condo. So clean.

The only reason there is a 4 star is that there were so many stairs to get down to the space. I would not suggest it for an older person. We’re in our 70’s. Younger people would be great.

Cute and cozy

We enjoyed our stay. The beds were super comfortable and the couch was even more comfortable. The condo is simply decorated (which I love having simple with a child running about) and equipped with everything you need. We saw deer everyday in the back. We had beautiful weather. Warm to cold to a little snow. We skied at Sugar mountain and enjoyed the rest of the time hiking around. There is trails and a creek right outside the condo. The many stairs down was maintained when the snow came with salt. Which was very helpful and we were thankful that was available. The owners were very responsive. We had an amazing time Thank you for sharing your home.

Great 4th Escape

Great stay! Very clean, recently renovated condo. Beautiful, wooded setting 5 minutes from restaurants, groceries, gas. 10 min to Sugar Mountain, Grandfather Mountain. 15 minutes to Banner Elk proper, Boone and 30 minutes to Blowing Rock. Lots of activities to choose from and easy to get to. My teen daughter and I really enjoyed the space and were able to bring along our dog rather than board him or hire a sitter. Communication with host was incredible including providing a replacement Keurig when the original wouldn't turn on. Only clarification is that only the bedrooms have A/C - none downstairs. Probably only an issue on warmer, humid days.
