2 bedroom stunning home in Palagnana

This lovely vacation home is located in a tiny hamlet of 4 houses in a quiet valley surrounded by mountains, just a few steps from the small town of Palagnana (Lucca province). The hamlet where the accommodation is located is called Il Cerro and is inhabited by the owner of the property, while the other houses are inhabited only occasionally. This is really an ideal place for those who want to spend a relaxing and quiet vacation! The accommodation is particularly welcoming, cool in summer and heated in winter with a thermal fireplace. The garden is at your disposal and is equipped with table, chairs, umbrella and barbecue so you can always eat outside and also organize fun barbecues with your loved ones or friends. The village of Palagnana, where there is a restaurant, is a few hundred meters away and can therefore be reached on foot. For trekking and hiking fans this is a real paradise, since the paths marked by the CAI (Italian Alpine Club) are many and also lead to the highest peaks such as Monte Penna, Monte Croce and Monte Forato. In this region called Garfagnana, adrenaline lovers can also experience the thrill of rafting or kayaking, but also visit caves like the famous Grotta del Vento (15 km). This region is also rich in events and festivals where you can taste the many gastronomic specialties of the area. If you want to immerse yourself a little in art, you can take a day trip to Lucca, while the sea of Versilia and fashionable Viareggio are about 45 km away.
