Everything You could Want and Need

Spacious Home perfect for OU Homecoming

We have stayed here twice, and we like the location and the ample number of bedrooms and bathrooms for accommodating our group. The setting is also quite scenic and quiet.

Perfect getaway

The house was great, perfect for 2 families with littles. Kid friendly as advertised! Perfect location between Hocking Hills and Athens/OU. We would definitely stay again!

Wonderful Experience

We had a very nice stay. The home was very clean and comfortable. I emailed to property owner with a question and recieved a quick response (very helpful as I packed quickly and had misplaced some information). House is in a pleasant, relaxing setting. We enjoyed our stay very much!

OU Parents weekend

The house and location were perfect for our stay during OU parents weekend. Short drive to campus. The house was very clean and had so many amenities. Beautiful land overlooking a pond and great fire pit. We hope to be back soon!

Spacious, clean home!

We came for a girls getaway and the property was the perfect space. Very clean, well equipped property and great proximity to 33, making it perfect for visits into Athens, or hiking in the Hocking Hills. The owner was quick to respond and made for a successful trip!

Peaceful retreat

Such a beautiful place to rest. We enjoyed the close proximity of hiking trails, the convenience of “town”, and the spacious property for playing and fishing. The house is well thought out and we appreciated every detail.

The Perfect House?!

My friends and I absolutely adored this house for our girls weekend. The amenities are plentiful, the beds were comfortable, and the location was just close enough to town for us to make last-minute grocery runs. I am in love with the coffee bar, and several of us have saved this listing for future use. I can't wait to come with an excuse to stay here again!

Cozy, spacious, perfect getaway!

This was a very nice, spacious, clean house! My family and I got together for my sister’s 30th birthday and it was the perfect place. It was very clean and had everything we needed even games, there were so many. I would highly recommend this place to anyone with a big group! We would love to book again.

Friends’ Getaway

This house was perfect for six longtime friends getting together for an extended weekend of fun. The open concept, living room, dining room, and kitchen was perfect as was the four bedroom layout with three full baths. The fire pit was very nice, but unfortunately we couldn’t use it due to an open fire restriction at the time we visited. It was about a half hours drive to Hocking Hills State Park, which we visited twice for some gorgeous hikes and candlemaking nearby. Highly recommend this property.

Perfect accommodations for our vacation

House and property were just right for two large, families. Everything was very clean. We enjoyed the bike path behind the property, the fire pit, ping pong table, coffee bar, nice kitchen, dining table large enough for all of us, comfortable bedrooms… We also enjoyed the beautiful pond, but swimming/boating are discouraged and we would have liked more freedom to use the pond. There were tvs and WiFi boosters in every room and cameras on the property. We prefer to “unplug” on our vacations so this was a bit of a turn off for us. Overall, the property was just what we needed to have a really nice vacation!

The Perfect Vacation Spot

Our group consisted of seven adults, one child, and one toddler. This property was fantastic for our group. The home was comfortable, clean, and spacious. We enjoyed fishing and kayaking in the pond behind the home. We spent many nights around the fire then watching a movie. The property was located in an ideal location allowing access to many activities. The host was consistently available to respond to questions including the morning the smoke/CO detector went off. The host immediately sent out someone to assess the situation while our group sat around the porch drinking coffee. Overall, our group absolutely loved this house and recommend it to anyone interested in vacationing in the Hocking Hills area.

Beautiful, spacious and Unique

This was the perfect, peaceful place for a 'home base' for a multi-family/friend get together in Nelsonville. We were there for a music festival - but also enjoyed the Hocking River - Adventure Pro is minutes away - and - of course - Hocking Hills State Park - hiking, ATV - which we didn't have time for this stay. Starbrick BBQ in the Rocky Outdoor Gear Store on Canal was a fun visit and great BBQ take out too. The home owners for "My Way" have thought of everything for this spacious home and I can't say enough about the views - the horse farm next door, the pond and just the entire experience. We could have stayed a week. It's so beautiful and peaceful. Thanks to Rachael for an easy check in and quick responses to any questions. We will be back next year!

Great family location

The layout is great. Open kitchen with quartz countertops, big table for dinner that seats 8. Nice family room off of the kitchen. Another family room and coffee/wine bar on the other side. Every room had smart TVs in them, which the kids loved. Has a great screened in back porch and a nice open front porch. Garage has a ping pong table and TV, great for watching the game and having drinks. Off of the garage is a carport converted into an outdoor sitting area. In the backyard is a nice fire pit with 8 chairs. Behind that is a clean, small pond with lots of fish in it. The bedrooms are nice. Bathrooms are very nice too. The whole house was very clean and well kept. Loved the stay. Everyone remarked about how nice the house was.

Perfect Space

This was a wonderful space and accommodation with plenty of room to spread out. With reasonable access in the area for hiking and the college visit to OU that we were doing on this trip with the close proximity to major road, we had a great time and were able to enjoy meals, board games, and spread out a bit. We enjoyed being out by the pond as well. The interactions with the owner were simple and we hope to come stay at this property again during other times of the year so we can enjoy the grounds even more!
