Located 3 miles from the quaint small town of Collins, this spacious family home will take you back to simpler times. This home is handicap accessible and pet friendly.

Explore the famous town of Laurel MS only 30 minutes away (where HGTVs Home Town is filmed). Have an adventure down the Okatoma River with canoeing and kayaking or bicycle on the Longleaf Trace in Hattiesburg MS (30 minutes).

Wonderful Choice for a Family Getaway

We had 4 adults and 4 children, ages 5-9. This farmhouse was a wonderful place for our weekend to attend a family memorial service/reunion. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely check on returning!

Long weekend stay

The spacious farmhouse was a nice place for our long weekend. There were 5 in our party with more than enough room for everyone to spread out. The boys enjoyed the video games upstairs and the pool table in the family room. My favorite spot was the screened in front porch where we drank coffee each morning.

Quaint Country House

My dad grew up in Prentiss, MS. We traveled to MS as a family so my dad could reconnect with his family members still living in the area. The farm house reminded him so much of his house growing up. We loved the quite escape and the convenience to Prentiss. Would stay here again when visiting family.

Kayaking Weekend Trip

We had a great time, this house provided what we needed for the weekend. None of the kids wanted to sleep upstairs though because they were spooked by the Raggedy Anne Dolls - lol - we made pallets on the floors for them and there was plenty of room to do this. We enjoyed the pool table, outdoor patio, and the large kitchen. Thank you for allowing us to stay there this weekend.

Highly Recommend!!!

This is a peaceful, old farmhouse that offers a large kitchen, large bedrooms and a very large upstairs space with beds and living area. The bathrooms are very nice with the Master bathroom a treat! Perfect front porch to watch the sunset. Be warned, it doesn't have WiFi. So, unplug and enjoy the beauty.

Perfect Getaway!

We traveled to Mississippi for softball. This farm house was the most charming and relaxing stay! The owners were fabulous! My 12 year old left one of her suits and 2 belts, they immediately contacted me and mailed them to us! If we are ever in the area again we will be back! The antiques in the house took me back to being in my grandmother's house in Louisiana. And the windmill had the girls captivated!

Why they chose this property

This farmhouse has been part of our family for almost a hundred years. Built in the 1920s as the residence of a dairy farm, this house has always been where family gathered. You'll find a peaceful breezes and sunsets can reset your soul while you enjoy the seclusion of this rural home.

What makes this property unique

This farmhouse is limited in the amenities you will find in other rentals. There is no dishwasher. There is one TV. This provides an excellent opportunity for connect with others and enjoy the country. There isn’t a washer /dryer for guest use.
