We had a great time at this cabin. It was clean and had plenty of room. We enjoyed the pond for fishing and the fire pit was very cute with all of the lights. It was close to all of the attractions as well.

We enjoyed having this family stay with us! Communication was good and they left the house in excellent condition. We would be happy to host them again in the future.
This is a great place to stay within ten to fifteen minutes of downtown Chattanooga! The listing is accurate, and the cabin is located on a great piece of property. The cabin was clean and had everything that you would need for a family trip. We hope to return sometime soon!
We were in Chattanooga for the Swim the Suck event. The cabin was a great space in a good location for the event and our group. The hot tub was a nice addition that got used quite a bit! Beautiful early fall weekend!
We brought our disabled father for a family getaway in the woods. Everything was very accessible to him on lower floor, lots of space for the family to spread out and comfortable beds. Best part was the large porch/deck with hot tub. There was a great table to eat outside and enjoy games among the trees. Great stocked kitchen, too.
Such a cute cabin and definitely what we expected. More than enough space for everyone to sleep comfortably.
It was so nice to spend the week with my family. Lots of things to do within driving distance. We thoroughly enjoyed our time! Great host!
The cabin was beautiful! The boys loved the lake and unlimited fishing. Katie is amazing and so easy to work with, she went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. Definately recommend for anyone wanting a family get together or just a quiet retreat away from life! Perfect!
We gather annually and have stayed in a lot of places. I can honestly say the communication was the best! House was everything we hoped it would be. Plenty of space for all 12 of us, ages 1-65. The home is so conveniently located to all the fun to be had in Chattanooga!
We stayed at this lovely rental and everything about it was perfect and charming! The cabin was gorgeous and the view over the lake was stunning. The house has everything we needed and had plenty of accommodations. We will definitely book this place again, it really does give you family time with the ones you love most!! The hostess was very informative and constantly kept in contact. This was the best experience we could have hoped for! 10/10 recommend, you won’t regret it.
Katie was amazing! She stayed in touch with us before, during and after our stay! Anything we needed, she was there to help!
The place was beautiful and in the perfect location for easy access to attractions.
My family had the best time together!
I would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone and plan on returning for another trip with my crew again!
Thank you so much Family Time Cabin for being our vacation spot. You had everything we needed and plus.
See you next time

Four siblings (age 60+) and spouses of two plus one widow of our deceased brother came together here to visit and catch up. This house was perfect for us. We loved fishing in the pond — coached by one brother and his wife, who are, more or less, experts. No mosquitoes bothered us — maybe because of all the dragonflies on patrol! The cornhole game brought us good laughs! We shared meal prep in the kitchen and that was always a good “together-time.” Even trips to the riverfront in downtown were easy from this location. We loved this VRBO!
Katie was amazing - the communication was fantastic and her attention to an issue that was immediately taken care of, even though it would have been fine if they waited til we left, was appreciated. We had 11 Adults and plenty of space to hang out. We were in town for a few days for a 2 day wedding so the 3 1/2 bathrooms were great and allowed us plenty of time to get ready. We didn't have time to enjoy the hot tub or the fire pit but both looked great. Plenty of space to park, the view was beautiful, it was close to everything we needed to do and yet far enough away that we got to enjoy a more relaxed time together (some from Ohio, Kentucky and Florida). We would stay there again if back in the area.
This fantastic, beautiful, HUGE, cabin looks exactly like the photos. There was so much private space for all 10 of us, plus our dogs! Traveling with a large group of people, it is absolutely imperative that everyone has their own space where they can close the door and relax after a fun day spent with EVERYONE. This cabin had it all! I would love to come here again, even if it's just the two of us! :) The hot tub was large and the deck was very large, so we all enjoyed cornhole and watching the birds. The lights along the property were genius! We found the cabin easily. Also, the turn around space up at the top was perfect. We had no trouble getting up and down the hill. This place was so well equipped. We cooked, baked, did laundry and watched T.V. just like we were at home. We loved it! Katie was so great to work with, she really made it all very easy. We loved Chattanooga. Our favorite thing was the Nickajack sunset kayak bat cave tour. We kayaked out onto the lake just before sunset and then as the sun was setting, we got closer to the cave and then just sat there, sipping hot chocolate while the bats flew out into the night sky. It was breathtaking. We will be back and we will make sure to come when Katie's cabin is available! Thank you, Katie!
There is plenty of space for multiple cars to park, plenty of space for sleeping, but not enough places for everyone to comfortably sit and visit. The owner is amazing and very responsive. She went above and beyond to make our stay great.
Rustic cabin close to all attractions. We had a family of 9, there was plenty of room in living area and large deck for family to enjoy. Owner very helpful and quick to respond. Stocked well. I do need to add that house is positioned on a hill so getting in and out of parking area is rather step. Just keep in mind if have people with limited mobility.

Why they chose this property
We are excited to provide this cabin as a family retreat to bring people to Chattanooga. As a Chattanooga (and Lookout Valley) native, we wanted to provide others with a chance to experience all that Chattanooga has to offer while residing in a place that would be comfortable for the whole family. We hope you enjoy your stay and will come back again and again!
