We honestly loved it. We came for my conference and made a couples weekend out of it. My husband got to fish a little, we were close to Chattanooga where we easily explored without it taking long to get back to the cabin. The cabin itself was very well loved by the owner and she was delightful to meet and chat with. We truly enjoyed our stay.
Very great property, and host was extremely helpful when EPB had an extended power outage.

Thank you so much for your patience and understanding. It is not after that a tree take out all the power lines and breaks a pole. Again congrats on your recent wedding. Wishing you a long and happy life together š¹š
We rented this cabin for a long weekend getaway, and had a great time. The location & scenery is phenomenal, and the cabin was clean. We would definitely recommend it and would stay there again.

Overall we had a great stay! We were under the impression we would be able to easily put our kayaks in from the backyard but it was a bit difficult with all the rocks! We made it work though. The inside of the house was very nice and clean. The outside was COVERED in spider webs. We walked through multiple on the back porch. The view was beautiful!

Sincere apologies for the webs... This time of year the spiders are very busy... Since we have had no rain for months the river is way lower than normal and makes any water activities very difficult.Thank you so much for your patience and understanding. Wishing you a wonderful winter and the best for the holidays.
Well stocked kitchen, nice bed/bedding and bath/towels. Great view, and deck was private from others on the property. Only disappointment was the hot tub, while private, had no view, and had leaves and things in it. I skimmed it and seemed clean but due to lack of view was not interested in sitting and looking at a staircase.Location was great, close to town, quiet area. Enjoyed fishing from shore, though no bites, but still a good time. Due to drought conditions we were unable to have a fire, though we think it would have been great!
This place was perfect for us! Close to everything we wanted to do in Chattanooga, but felt remote and private. The waterfront is peaceful and beautiful. Thank you!!
Enjoyed our two night stay in this cozy Little House. The kitchen has all the amenities you need, comfortable bed and amazing view of the Tennessee river on the back deck. Short drive to all the sights in Chattanooga. Very andPaula was very helpful. relaxing
Every day was a beautiful day. It was a dream vacation, very relaxing, watching the boats and tugboats and nature at the same time. Excellent I will recommend to all my friends!!!!!!šā¤ļøš¹ š
My husband and I (and our dog) enjoyed a long weekend getaway at this property. It was the perfect place to escape from the hustle of Nashville and reconnect with nature. From morning coffee on the deck overlooking the river, to dips in the hot tub, to evening snuggles in front of the fire while watching movies, this home allowed us to enjoy an absolutely amazing weekend. Highly recommend! We will definitely be back.

Beautiful and comfortable cabin
Escaped for a few days to this sweet little cabin overlooking the Tennessee River. Cooked steaks out on the gas grill and sat on the deck enjoying the river, light boat traffic, and the birds, including hawks and an eagle. Feels out in the country, but only a few mile to any convenience you will need.
Had a fun, comfortable time! Pet friendly...my little pup enjoyed meeting the two sweet dogs next door.
Enjoyed our visit and will do it again!
My family and I have been traveling every winter to the mountains and have high expectations from the places we chose to stay at as we have two small children and spending time together relaxing is our main goal. This house has its positives and negatives letās begin with the positive.
The house was clean, comfortable beds, kitchen was equipped with just enough things, but the highlight of the trip was the beautiful view you have from your porch of the river and the mountains behind it. We enjoyed drinking coffee every morning as we watched the eagle fly by and the foggy morning sky.
On the other hand, my family and I like to be able to walk our dog around and feel the serenity and peaceful sound of the openness found in the mountains unfortunately this cottage had no privacy at all. Driving to the cabin you will notice many other homes in not the best shape, garbage everywhere, trailer homes not a good welcoming to your vacation getaway. The property land is shared by two other properties, the owners house, and another larger rental property. We felt no privacy as we walked out of the cabin, the other rentals were close by and our dog couldnāt enjoy running freely as he usually does in other properties we have rented in the past. The next door neighbor (in the property the the right) has a larger dog that felt like was going to attack us with his barking as we walked outside. The inside of the house was nice however we didnāt get the privacy we were looking for while on vacation.

Hi Yleibis, we want all of our guests to find the perfect vacation rental for their stay, so we take the accuracy of our listings seriously:
- Weāve confirmed that in the listing description, we state that another vacation rental unit is on the premises and other travelers may be present during your stay, but we're sorry if this caught you off guard.
- We also include a map on our listing so that guests can see the approximate location and neighborhood of the home prior to booking.
- The neighbor's dog is harmless, and there is an invisible fence that the dog cannot cross. The neighborhood is safe with a few family houses down the road. The rural charm is a draw for many guests to unplug and relax.
The owners are committed to making every guest experience enjoyable, and we look forward to this home hosting many happy travelers!

Disliked: Location, listing accuracy
Not as it appears.
Upon arrival, you pass up SEVERAL and I do mean several houses that look like junk yards. Filled with trash and old cars scattered across the front yards. Not a pretty picture. We finally get to the house and it is a bit confusing if you are arriving sleep deprived at 3am. We drove down the hill and to the garage and there is a door with a code on it. We typed in our given code and walked in and it was some sort of laundromat? Not real sure because again it was 3am and we were confused. There was also a lot of what looked like trash outside and construction materials. We finally realized our ācabinā was at the top of the hill. There are 3 houses within rock throwing distance of one another, so if you are looking for a secluded cabin as we were, this is not the place. The patio is only part way covered so if it is snowing or raining you canāt really go out there. The hot tub itself is enclosed, to get to it is not. So if you are expecting to get romantic in the hot tub, find another place to stay. The hot tub also had A LOT of dirt in the bottom along with other twigs and leaves floating. And it was extremely chlorinated. The shower has not been truly cleaned in a while. Some sort of mold/scum build up in the back of it. There was hair stuck to some of the utensils in the utensil holder. If there were blankets there we didnāt find them. And if youāre going in winter it gets really cold so make sure you bring a heavy blanket because the bedding is very thin. The mirror in the bathroom is extremely high. Iām 5ā6 and I had to sit in the sink to do my hair and makeup. No full length mirror anywhere. The loft doesnāt look like it has had a full cleaning in a while either because there are spiderwebs everywhere. Seasonings and spices in the cabinet had been expired for A WHILE, so make sure if you are cooking, you bring your own seasoning. That includes salt and pepper. Hotels have better water pressure. Every time we flushed the toilet, the chain came loose so we had to fix it. I am appalled that they had 7 five star reviews before us because this is truly not a 5 star place. When we first arrived we were sick to our stomachs that we paid good money for this place. We looked into trying to get our money back and go somewhere else but decided to try to make the best of it since this was our first vacation in SEVERAL years. I really hate giving bad reviews and I rarely do it but I felt like we were given false information.

Brittany, we're sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations. Although properties in the area may be in disrepair, the homeowner would like to assure future guests that the neighborhood is not unsafe. We're sorry to hear that your trip got off to a rough start when you were unable to locate the property at 3 am. In the future, please don't hesitate to reach out to us here at Evolve, we have a team that is dedicated to helping travelers 24 hours a day and would have been happy to assist! While most people find the hot tub area with a view of the river most relaxing and romantic, we're sorry this wasn't the case during your stay. Since this property is on a well, there is sediment in the water that collected at the bottom of the hot tub and a recent storm before your check-in may have blown leaves under the hot tub lid. The owner takes the cleanliness of the property seriously and has assured us that the shower is clean, as well as the utensils. They will continue to monitor the property to ensure that their cleanliness standards are continuously met. We encourage guests to reach out to the local guest contact or us at Evolve with any concerns while in residence so we have the opportunity to make things right. We would have been happy to help ensure that you had a comfortable stay. We appreciate your feedback so that we can continue to improve and as is evidenced by the many great reviews, these owners are accustomed to providing five-star experiences, and we feel confident that future guests will be delighted.
