Property is in a great location, Logan Square, walking distance to many fine restaurants, bars and activities. The house itself was very comfortable and well furnished. The only issue, which was not a problem for us Be aware that the kitchen and bathroom are very small. Not a problem for our group but may be a problem for a larger group or family.
This was a great place to stay with a very good location. Close to many restaurants and public transportation. The host was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. The listing was very accurate. We would stay here again.
Another enjoyable stay in Logan Square. Again, the unit was clean, comfortable and well stocked with basics. Caitlin is always welcoming and easy to communicate with for any questions.
Great communication, perfect location, very clean, quiet, great neighborhood. We really enjoyed our stay. Only slight downfall is the tiny bathroom but it did not alter our enjoyment at all. Perfect for what we needed.
My sisters and I loved staying here! The historical home is near many neighborhood shops and restaurants. We had the lower floor and it was the perfect size for us. It was so clean with charming decor. Caitlin was incredibly accessible, helpful and quick to reply with any questions. We would definitely stay here again!
Cait is a wonderful host. Very accommodating in all ways. Went above & beyond to make sure we were welcome and had everything we need. Couldn't recommend more.
We were in town for a concert and wanted a place close to the L—this home is great, and came with a list of recommendations for the neighborhood (which is full of great options)! I recommend for anyone looking for a good base to explore the city.
It was a great location. Neighborhood felt safe and easy to get into. It was easy access to great restaurants and farmers market and public transportation. The only down side is my significant other is 6'3" and had to duck in certain areas to enter rooms etc. Otherwise it was great!
We joined friends to celebrate a birthday; the property was conveniently located. It was very clean, the beds were comfortable with good linens. There was no noise from the other tenants or the street. We enjoyed our stay
My husband and I just stayed for 3 nights at this fabulous two bedroom apartment and loved it! Our host, Cait, made sure we were comfortable. She checked in on us a couple of times to see if there was anything additional she could do or if we needed help with any suggestions. She was a gracious, thoughtful host.
The apartment itself was perfect, cozy and in a lovely neighborhood close to stores and restaurants. We would happily stay there again. Highly recommend!!!
Caitlin was a wonderful host and the property was well suited for my family’s stay in Chicago. The basement apartment was welcoming and fully equipped with all our needs. The host answered questions promptly and went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our time in the city. We also appreciated the easy street parking and provided daily permits. Thanks!
We had a wonderful stay in Logan Square. Everything was as described and our hostess Caitlin was very accommodating. She recommended lots of fun local spots to check out and even brought us a space heater when we got a little chilly downstairs. We really couldn't have asked for a nicer place to call home for a couple of days. Thank you!
Caitlin was great as a host. Provided what was needed but largely anticipated what was needed so little need to contact her during the stay. Property was clean, cool, and dehumidified. Fairly close to Blue Line and on-street parking available if desired. I booked because of other positive reviews, and now I can second those reviews. Great place to rent for a stay.
We had a terrific stay at here. The apartment was sparkly clean. The linens were like new. The bed was comfortable and cozy. It’s a basement apartment but you don’t feel “underground” at all. It’s light and airy, laid out well with plenty of living space. It’s on a quiet residential block and conveniently located for public transportation and walking to restaurants. Caitlin checked in with us just the right amount—to be sure the temperature was right (it was) and if we needed anything (we didn’t). We didn't end up cooking (so many places to eat at), but the kitchen has everything you need. My husband and I were visiting friends and family. We had moved from Logan Square to Brooklyn just 5 months earlier, so we didn’t need recommendations, but Caitlin was available if we needed. We hope to make this our regular spot when we come back to our old neighborhood.
We came to Chicago with our 3 young kids for a summer vacation. The accommodations were perfect for what we were looking for, which is a place to sleep and recuperate between excursions around the city. The place was very clean, beds were comfortable, and there were basics such as coffee, shampoo/conditioner, etc available if you didn’t bring your own.
Our favorite part was the location. You are in walking distance of dozens and dozens of different restaurants and shops. Every place we ate at was fantastic, and we walked to all of them. The neighborhood felt safe and active; lots of people out and about at all times, even nighttime.
If you’re looking for constructive comments I’d say that it isn't set up for cooking as there is limited silver ware, utensils, and counter space for that matter. You can do it, just not set up well for it. For us this wasn’t a problem as eating all the Chicago food staples was part of our plan. Also, bring your own wine glasses if you want to drink wine out of actual wine glasses (I didn’t care but I know some do).
Overall, we had a great experience in Chicago and our VRBO was part of that. Would for sure stay here again if we’re coming back to Chicago.
The place was better than in the pictures !!!Caitlin was also prompt to answer any questions I had and was so kind. The location is great! Near a lot of great bars and restaurants and shops and also close to the blue line.
Great location. Very clean unit with easy parking. Easy check-in and check-out. Kitchen is adequate. Bathroom is small but again, very clean! Nice to have two bedrooms plus a nice sitting area.
Great location to show our kids the city. We had a rental car so the free daily stickers to park made it really easy and convenient to park on the street. The apartment was very nicely appointed and comfortable for a family of 4 and our host was quick to respond when we had a question, and she left a very helpful city guide, complete with restaurant recommendations! Highly recommend it!
Host was beyond 5 stars--accessible, easy to work with, very helpful with correcting one or two small issues, and went beyond expected for some convenience things for our group. We were a family group in town for a wedding, and we loved the time together in her space.
Located in a great neighborhood full of friendly people, plenty of shops/restaurants near by while not having an overwhelming amount of traffic. Caitlin is a terrific host who does everything in her power to make sure you enjoy your stay.
We were in Chicago for a wedding and enjoyed the proximity of this location not only to the reception venue but to restaurants, shops and bars in the Logan Square area. It was easy to pick up relatives flying in and easy to uber downtown to do some sight seeing. The property was just what we needed and didn't need to worry about parking. The property owner was very quick to respond to questions and explained everything well.
